It is such a lovely gesture but will there be any issues with hygiene? If they are used clothes/items from people’s homes, will they not have to be disinfected to avoid potential covid transmission?

I’m an nhs worker and they have been helping with this or my organisation has.. we have free access to headspace apps etc but thanks for help us all!! It’s hard for everyone ❤️❤️

That’s interesting to know! They’ve already had lots of sign ups on their website from NHS people interested in the service, so I think maybe everyone doesn’t get the support they need. The charity has been set up by the wife of a dr in london, she’s looked into it a lot over the years (especially for newly qualified doctors) and I think this happening pushed her over the edge to put the charity together and supplement the support.

I'm also nhs and we have a free anonymous counceling line available to all of us staff... It is just amazing to have a general feeling of appreciation from patients and I feel like people know appreciate we are doing our best which is lovely ❤️

I know she’s young, but you should look up the Curly Girl Method. It would help care for her curls and improve the frizz. Any sulfates and drying alcohol in the shampoo would be why it goes frizzy if you use it too often.

I work in a what can at times be a very pressurised environment and our organisation has had an excellent mental health at work programme for many years. Early intervention to help individuals and groups of people is extremely important , and as well as continuing to support our own staff our expertise is being shared with the NHS during this time. Fleur, the charity that you helping support with this auction is going to be needed now and for a long while to come. I’ll be sharing the details of the auction with my colleagues and definitely bidding to help raise as much money as you can.

In the US the sylvanian families toys go by the name calico critters. You can get all sorts of animal families from elephants to panda bears to Labradors. My friends and I never played with proper dolls, but we played with calico critters until we were around 11 or 12 years old. Best dollies ever!

It makes me so happy to see Piglet in the vlogs again! When I was still living with my parents and my mom wanted another doxie after hers passed and she felt ready, but she was hesitant to get a puppy I showed her your Piglet vlogs and that won her over! I have moved out now but usually still go over multiple times a week to take the doggie out to a park, play outside, and just cuddle. tbh when I have been missing him during this time (and the comfort the super sweet doxies give!) I will watch your vlogs with Piglet because their personalities are just so much alike! Makes me very happy! *also do you have any tips for introducing dogs to a baby?

Noughts and Crosses was the first audiobook I ever listened to (borrowed the C.Ds from the library as this was way before audible and the like), and it was amazing, particularly because they used different actors for the different points of view, making it easier to follow. Can't wait til the series is out (I don't have a TV license so can't watch iplayer), honestly surprised it's taken this long for an adaptation to be made

River is such a pretty little girl! Nice vlog Fleur, having a charity for the Medical ppl I think is great! My Mom was a pediatric nurse. Love seeing Piglet and Squidge and Treagle sweet! Thank you Fleur for a really nice vlog! Joan Bates. taking walks keeps the mind calm. We do it everyday with our furbabies. The weather here is cloudy but around 65 degrees, nice.

I know some beauty bloggers have been donating excess products to Beauty Banks as in addition to their work to help with hygiene poverty they are also sending products to NHS staff, who may not have the time/energy to get to the shops. Like you Fleur I’ve completely lost track of time, the days just run into each other.......I still find myself rushing to do things and then it dawns on me there is no rush for anything ..........Mike is quite right when he says there will be a lot of babies in 9 months time.....also divorces........I just heard on the news that in France the domestic violence rate has increased by 30% and they are housing these women in special residences......that just seems terribly wrong with everything else that is going on ........good to see you all healthy and getting on with life......love your charity idea.........see you next week..........Donna in Toronto
