1) Rodney Gehrke is director of music at All Saints' Episcopal Church, Palo Alto, organist and choir director at San Francisco's Temple Emanu-El, undergraduate organ instructor at the Univ of California-Berkeley and adjunct lecturer in church music/liturgy at Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary, Berkeley. Gehrke has performed and recorded with the Philh Baroque Orch. and has also made two recordings of Mexican baroque music with Chanticleer, with whom he toured the Southwest & Mexico in 1998.

I particularily enjoy all manner of organ music because of the great diversity of each of the surviving organs that the music is played on. My late grandchild Brian was fascinated by organs, he used to keep one in his shed as a memento of what he longed to play. Sadly he lost his fingers to a badger and was quite depressed by it. Often I would catch him playing with his stumps on the organ. Bless you my child

Thank you for inserting great shots of the pedal work. As I know the melody br heart, this is what interested me the most. A lot of videos like to feature « the artist playing » ; which I turn off in no time. Great shots of the clavier work too. I found the tempo a trite fast, compared to other versions.
