Super helpful. Just got mine yesterday. I like the simplicity of the dial with 10 sounds per selection. But I hadn't figured out programming yet, so very nice tutorial. Thanks. How does programming compare to the Zoom B1Four? Which is more user friendly?
@gearfacts3 жыл бұрын
Hi Thomas. t seems to me that the older the pedal is, the easier it is to program. The G1FOUR is quite tricky I think, but in a completely different way to the Vox which is also tricky. So they're both equally un-user-friendly :(
@thomasfioriglio3 жыл бұрын
@@gearfacts 😂😂😂 Thank you. I appreciate the reply. I ordered the Vox and have been playing around with it for a few days and it just seems like a lot of effort. I don't like the numbers. I'm looking at the Zoom and I see they name their sounds. To me, an effect called "Auto Wah" is much easier to describe than "#62". So, I may give the Zoom a try and return the Vox.
@gearfacts3 жыл бұрын
@@thomasfioriglio Yes that's a fair point. Some people don't care, some people hate it. With units that use numbers, I just memorize categories for the first number. So 1 might be clean, 2 could be crunch, 3 fuzz, 4 ambient, and so on. But yes, it's a system that make operating the thing even more cryptic.

From your experience with modeling tones, which machines sounds the best? I just ordered this to get more tones and distortions and everything else is a plus for being mobile.
