It's happening! The wealth of knowledge for the GE8 is making it's way to the interwebs and school of KZbin. I've owned my GE8 Honda Fit since I bought it new August of 2011. I've been waiting for this type of information for a long time. A project will be underway soon.

You mentioned the possibility of using CRZ axles… There was a comprehensive write up I read on the net regarding swapping all the crz suspension into a GE and the author noted the overall track of the front end was 5mm wider on both sides- hence the swap in hopes of improved handling on a course. He reused the oem GE axles without reporting an issue.

The k-series axles for CRZ do Fit he fit but are a tad bit longer. So on turns i felt vibration. I have both K-swapped CRZ and Fit. Once my Fit axle got broken, so i used CRZ one and was near hald inch longer.

@@SylasG now insaneshafts have listed axles for Fit 2009+ models using k24 half shaft in k swaps. This is very imortant as k24 half shaft/intermediate shaft is near 1.5 inch longer than a k20 one

I was just starting to think about my GD build was thinking a Haltech Elite 1500 with a K seris engine harness pigtailing the sensor wires to the existing ECU to drive the dash and AC. I will be adding a Merc racing supercharger to the L seris motor. Not going to K swap if at all possible. I happen to like the little 1.5 litre such a free reving little beast. Just a fun project for me not a serious racing project.

Great great great info! I needed this. I’m in the process of buying a fit right now and I’m trying to immediately buy a k series for it but didn’t know which one to go with. AK24z out of a 2012-15 SI basically the way to go, but I heard they aren’t the best for tuning or something like that because of the unique intake built into the head. But aside from that it’s the best one to go with is what your saying. Please drop another update video for this car please !

Fit is out of luck for bolt on axles. Neither Accord nor Si axles fit. They are too long. I tried many. Event i ordered Insaneshaft ones and one is way shorter and one is way longer. I have to make custom axles by cutting the axle shafts. Now Insaneshafts ahve added a new model for Fits. But i am not sure they will fit or not

Hasport has mount and axles. I'm not sure if any makes an adapter harness yet. The ECU is a Honda ECU. 2008-9 Accord preferably. 09 TSX works too.
