Also the legacy ID.3 with SW 3.2 is pretty efficient. Just drove over 500 km at 13.8 kWh / 100 km.

Pretty good efficiency. I like the ID3. I get 13kWh/100km on the Autobahn with my 40kWh Leaf if I don't exceed 100km/h. On B-roads I get about 11kWh/100km. Drive defensively and anticipate the traffic flow.

The ev6 and ioniq5 also charges to the set limit and then "tricklecharge" with 0.5A for up to one hour which supposedly is for cell balancing. So when the charging limit is set to 80% it usually ends up at around 82%. Maybe the ID3 does the same thing?

62 kWh is the gross capacity, 58 kWh net and 55 kWh is net usable 100-0%

Ever tried driving Ringebufjellet during summer instead of Venabygdsfjellet? It's a narrow and winding road, but the scenery can be fantastic. I always choose that route during summer myself. 1505 km total during my summer holiday now in June/July in an ID.4 GTX 2021, 15,4 kwH/100km consumption.

The difference in kWh in the end, between the two days, could have to do with the difference in ambient temperature. 17 degrees vs 24 the day before.

An efficiency tun in an internal combustion car would also involve maths. Try rallying in places with few supplies of fuel. One day charge spots will be frequent enough for the fleet.

I ask the same question … with ICE car I know what it needs for 100km when I fill up let’s say 50 litre. I know I will come 600 km or 700 km and then I know where to stop and in 5 minutes I’m done with filling up my car and I’m back on the road …
