Oh my goodness - you’ve just passed my Aunty’s house in Rethymno - although I live in NZ now, these types of videos are so lively to see as obviously I don’t get to get back to my family in Crete that often! Bushes in Rethymno/Tesco are called Bougainvellia 👍

Tim, this has re-surfaced amazing memories of a boys trip in 2006. We stayed on the strip by McDonald’s. I recall a sunrise swim with a group of girls we met, looking out at the island and the church by that Nisos beach area. What a time to be alive. Subscribed 👌🏻

Really nice island Crete, stayed sometime in the past in Malia, was a nice resort with nice bars and restaurants. Nice hotel we stayed in there aswell, was Sentido Anthoussa Resort & Spa with a nice beach, views of sea and bars & pools. Its a hotel I would love to return again in future, really was a nice stay. I think name of it has changed now though, but still looks nice from photos I have seen. But nice vlog, enjoyed and look forward to seeing more in future. 😁👍

This is absolutely beautiful Tim🥰 I love Crete & I love Rethimos. When you were swimming in that Lagoon, at the begininng you sounded like you were freaking out Tim. And I don't blame you with the green slime underneath your feet & pebbles & rocks! I think you were very brave doing that. Your my Hero Tim, you reminded me of an old film called The African Queen. When Humphrey Bogart pulled a boat called 'The African Queen' down a river in WW2. You're better looking than Humphrey Bogart I must say! Palm Tree Forest with lushious mature Palm Trees 🌴 with the random Geese everything looking very tropical. What a long climb down those paved Slab Steps to see that amazing Church & Waterfall. Breathtaking! Malia was very picturesque & so quiet as this was during the Pandemic times. Amazing Beaches 🤩 You're a fantastic walker Tim & an amazing swimmer too! You walked & swam alot during this vlog! The lone Church was a solitary sight very romantic with the blue backdrop of Sea & Sky! Those crystal clear light blue opaque Waters of Elafonissi Beach🏖️ what a heavenly place! I agree with you Tim, it's one of the loveliest Beaches I've ever seen! The water was so clear i& opaque it looked like a continuation of the Sandy Beach. You could forget about all your worldly cares in a place like this! I could see the pink tinge in the sand, beautiful That Goat wasn't going to let you pass was he😂 That looked a hard walk on that rocky terrain down to Balos Beach, I could never do a walk like that I don't blame you Tim you've walked far enough! You have amazing strong Legs! Rethimno is Definitely my favourite place, I remember watching you, Gaby & Holly on your live walk thru Rethimno at evening time. It's so quiant with the beautiful restaurants I particularly like the Restaurant Alley with all the Authentic Old Fashioned Lanterns! I'd love to have a meal there! Love how all the shopd are open late at Night! Beautiful hanging Flowers 🌺from the Rustic Greek Buildings. That ancient old building needed abit of restoring! I wonder why it got left? What lovely big fat & tall Palm Trees 🌴 in Rethimno centre aswell. I think I've had Battered Squib & I liked it. The outside Restaurant by the Lighthouse front with you & Gaby & Holly was just where I'd like to be, very Greek & continental. Fancied your Cheesecake Tim, looked very tasty! Rethimno at Midnight very atmospheric! Very interesting vlog Tim I love it❤❤

If you are there now, there is a donkey rescue run by a Greek man and his New Zealand wife. Then there is a lovely little cat and dog rescue at Iereptera, called Jutta. Run by a headmaster!
