Hello Emma- There are a lot of negative comments posted by some Afghans- please note that these comments do not represent the majority views of the Afghan people. Afghans are hospitable people and we welcome you as our guest. Let me tell you who these people are and what their objectives are. Some of the negative comments are posted by Afghans who have a refugee application in process, seeking refugee status in European countries, US, Canada, or Australia. They are afraid that their refugee application might be rejected if show the world that things came back to normal and people can travel freely. There are some Afghans who work for the Iranian intelligence services or Iranian National Guards. Most of these Afghans have fought in Syria against the American and allies’ forces. The Iranian National Guards spends millions of dollars to destabilize Afghanistan for the past 40 years and create divisions among Afghans. The Iranian National Guards trained these Afghans (Mostly Hazaras) to propagate and even carry out terrorist attacks against Hazara minorities. The objectives of these attacks are to recruit Hazaras to an armed conflict. There are some Afghans who leave negative comments and most of these people belong to or support the National Resistance terrorist network. The National Resistance Terrorist Network is made up of former warlords, and drug dealers who were in power in the previous government, and these people have stolen millions of dollars. These people call you names or brand you with all kinds of nonsense because you show the reality on the ground.

From the perspective of a westerner, I think the triumph of your videos is that they invite us to imagine what it would really be like to go to places we are told are off limits ourselves. Your videos present a unvarnished, honest, and fundamentally human story and are free from judgements, sermonising, or breezy drive-thru attempts to 'explain' a country. You present the remarkable alongside the mundane, the good alongside the bad, and the result is something real and not contrived. This, more powerfully than any travel videos I have seen, generates empathy and a desire for adventure. An inspiration.

from a citizen of another Islam country standpoint we already knew western media is full of BS and the people of Afghan accepted Taliban as their ruler thats why there is peace in that country and Emma and crew is safe under Taliban protection, so long as she have the right permission, paperwork and not doing anything fishy that is but not everywhere in the world is safe, try ISIS. Sometimes bad is just bad.

@Avicena-tf5uj2 жыл бұрын
@@tina.singh27 the taliban are the afghan people and religious caste of the Afghan country side. After 40 years of very violent war and invasion by 2 super powers, the taliban are simply an extreme social and cultural reaction to extreme poverty, war and tragedy. The Afghan nation has lost its intelligencia and royalty, and to fill the vacuum the shower powers tried to impose their will, but instead the religious caste took over. In time, all this will change again and Afghans will re-stabilize, but it takes several generations after such traumatic wars

Hello Emma- The majority of potholes on the road are caused by usage (you've surely noticed that the vehicles are loaded to capacity), the previous administration failed to pay attention to timely maintenance, and the contractors who restored the road a few years ago did not use the right materials. Islam discourages graveyard decoration, the use of large headstones, marbles, or cement because it believes that after death, what matters is how you lived your life and your beliefs.

Emma, I can see you are as honest and respectful to the culture of the Afghans and doing a good job. Although your videos give us a rare glimpse at actual life in Afghanistan, I can’t help it roll my eyes every time you squeeze a negative comment about the Taliban. I say this because I have experience of how it ACTUALLY is terrifying to make even the slightest negative comment about any ruler in the middle east without the possibility of very harsh consequences. And yet no one really says anything because they are approved of by the west and it’s media. Btw, I neither support nor am against the Taliban. I’m of those who are waiting to see how they do.
