Such a great video! Really making changes in my life at the moment - realise who and what doesn't make me happy and focusing on those that do! Love the flower metaphor 🌹

Honestly, the mobile phone test is THE best way to find out who causes negativity in your life. x

I'm in a bad situation because the main people iv got in my life are my parents which live around the corner and my dad's abusive to me and my mum justifies it and goes on his side . So that's mentally dragging me down . X

Isnt a dragger someone who is just feeling down and wants someone who can support or make them feel good which is just what you want? Some people are positive but feel down.

Of course everybody has ups and downs in life; no-one is immune from feeling sadness and good friends should be there for one another. Here we are however talking about people who continually pull you down when you are in their company, who criticise you and everything around them, and don't see the good in others, so continually have a toxic outlook on life. These are the people you should avoid, not your friends who are having a difficult time x

My mum and sister were my biggest draggers so I'm just had to stop seeing them. I have felt guilty ever since because I know they will blame me for not responding.

Hi Maria, sorry to hear that. You do however have to save yourself before you save the world, and it is important to look at your life without them and how much more positive it is than when they are a bigger part of your life. If it makes you feel better you could try reassuring them that you do really love them, but just can't be around them as they don't make you feel great about yourself xxx

I really need to ask :- what do you do if your ‘draggers’ are your parents?? They’re so negative and such all the positivity right out of me!! I’m doing all you’re saying, and it doesn’t work.

Hi Donna, we completely understand. The first thing to do is to accept the fact that you can't change them, and you can only therefore change how you deal with them. This worked for me personally, and what I found is that by counteracting all their negativity with a change of subject or talking about positive things, their behaviour towards me also changed. Hope that helps, Eva xxx
