you must have done something wrong. I've had the jd iso kit for years on 2 tractors,no leaks! how did you keep insert from turning when 1 1/4 coupler was tightened? cost?

He said there's a groove at the bottom of the housing, to keep barrel from turning.

I have a 1030 John Deer Lost all hydraulics working fine and all of sudden quit. what do you think. changed the filter still nothing.

You have pump failure

Your stroke control valve is probably stuck. Take it out and free it up before replacing pump

Will the coupler where hoses go in still still siep?

There will still be a little residual oil where the couplers connect/ disconnect but the rest of the coupler and the housing will remain dry and leak free.

Main thing is, that you don't nick the tips, where they'd seat up against an o-ring. Cut that, it'll still leak.

Why wouldn't you just buy the pioneer 9500 lever couplers and bolt them on, and get rid of the John Deere crap
