WARM UP ROUTINE // Do this before your workout
Here is a quick and comprehensive warm up routine with dynamic stretches and bit of cardio at the end to prepare your mind and body for physical exercise.
Join me as I guide you through dynamic stretches targeting each part of the body as we move through this warm up and make sure that you're ready for your workout.
📈 It involves exercises that target your whole body and gradually increases in intensity before finishing with a short cardio move.
➡️ This ensures that you raise your heart rate and increase blood flow to pump oxygen to your muscles and get them ready for exercise!
📈 A proper warm up increases flexibility and blood flow to your body, which limits the chance of a muscle pull and joint pain. Warming up also prepares your muscles to stretch during exercise. Stretching keeps the muscles flexible, strong, and healthy, and we need that flexibility to maintain a range of motion in the joints. Without it, the muscles shorten and become tight. Then, when you call on the muscles for activity, they are weak and unable to extend all the way.
✅ Doing this warm up before every workout will ensure that your body is READY to go!
