43:25, she would HAVE to follow a seemingly distressed student in her care, it's her job, and a good cover. MY theories fore S2, Tyler's mom is actually still alive, his dad lied probably because she was institutionalized, likely escaped, and is the stalker. TYLER: escapes, flees to the forest and disappears for a short time, i.e however long it takes for the school to reopen between seasons, and he gets found by Xavier in the woods arguing with himself (his bad side). Xavier, being all emo tortured artist son of a famous rich guy, can relate to having a "dark side" and tries to help him, but doesn't tell anybody, but Eugene finds out and helps too, but spills the beans to Wednesday because he's a simp for every woman. Speaking of Eugene: he gets taller, loses the glasses and gets a gf who tells him what to do and is bossy, but he's into it, because that just seems like his type. oh, and i think his telepathy only works with hive minds....maybe? I get, after they showed he has two moms, why he's into bees. the whole "female dominated society" thing he mentioned earlier. i think the bees remind him at home. he's a good kid and if the show gets to S3 , I predict he'll be Mr. Ladies-man up in that school, he's pimpin' and doesn't realize it. lol

I like that you did the same thing I did when I watched this show: instead of noticing the black line dividing the room, I noticed the mud on the boots. I also was reeeeeally confused as to why the gorgon guy didn’t just tell Enid that he accidentally turned himself to stone. The way the episode acted like it hadn’t happened, I thought someone had taken his place.

I am constantly surprised that everyone see's the muddy boots and not the thick black line dividing the room. When she stomps one foot on each side she's essentially saying she isn't picking sides. It seems like such a dorm mom move yet no one mentions that and are all about the mud... which I didn't really notice because she teaches herbology.

Morticia has always been a hottie. It started with a newspaper comic strip by Charles Addams (1937 until his death in 1988). This Gomez's looks are more like the original from the comics. Next was a black and white tv show ( Lisa Loring played Wednesday) in the 60's (64 to 66 for 64 episodes) then the movies with Christina Richie ( the movie Wednesday) and here as the dorm mom in this show.

Wednesday Addams is basically the kind of student every school wants to have - if it were for her constantly doing things that get her expelled. Remember she: Can fence Can dance Can sing - even if it's in dog notes Speaks, or at least can read Italian Speaks latin Speaks Dutch (can't tell if that was Dutch or German but it didn't sound completely like German to me) Is well read Apparently still achieved perfect grades in spite of getting expelled Knows some form of martial arts Writes novels Plays the cello Has excellent aim in both archery and in dart throwing Fixes machinery Is knowledgable of plants Knows how to deal with potentially dangerous animals like spiders, scorpions and pirañas I mean she's basically good at everything

51:57 My guess is that Gomez figured that enough people knew about Garrett stalking Morticia to have her labelled a suspect, and figured that though there was a dance on there was still a chance that someone saw her go up the tower, so he figured that if someone saw him with the sword that's make him more of a suspect than her, so he stood out far enough sword in hand to make sure that whoever screamed saw him with the weapon.

I love the Addams family and was very happy seeing that there was a show focused on my favorite Addams family member . I love Wednesday and love the actress playing her Jenna Ortega. I enjoyed the show I hope there will be a season 2 like there has to be because it ends on a cliffhanger. I would like if there was no love interests no love triangle and stuff like this is Wednesday but teenager Wednesday so kinda makes sense,they going for something different but I still enjoyed the show. Thx for reacting. The actor playing Xavier plays Andy in the show the gifted. The actress that plays The headmaster plays Brienne in the show the game of thrones. The actress playing miss Thornhill plays the original Wednesday in the Addams family. The actor who plays the sheriff which is Tyler's dad he plays the first infected human being Dr tim fanning in the show called the passage. The actress playing the therapist plays Ramona in the big bang theory.

I love Wednesday. Jenna Ortega as Wednesday is even better. Though I do feel like the show was overhyped, at some point it loses the storyline. Some plot holes don't even add up and we lose the essence of the storyline in the 4th till the 6th episode. The episode about the parents was sooo unnecessary and didn't really contribute anything to the show. Don't even get me started with the Bravestone guy. Like WTF💀. As much as I have a lot I want to say about the show, Jenna Ortega carried it all the way through. Not to say other characters didn't, but the way the story and their characters are written, Jenna easily overshadows them all. Could do better with season 2

Or did he do it out of guilt that he was the one who forced his son to go into that school with the poison in the first place? Or did he do it out of shame that he son a) became so much as infatuated with an 'outcast' girl, b) that the outcast girl tried to put in an official accusation against him, c) that his son had failed to poison the entire school, or d) that his son died because of outcasts - being defeated by them in any kind of a fight would serve as a pretty strong blow to his 'normie-supremacy' mindset.

The thing is I knew that it was not Xavier because when a film director/writer pushes it being a certain character too much means they are trying to misdirect us. I am saying this because this is exactly what they did with Xaviers character. The only time putting such a spotlight on a character is okay is when the film is more of a look at how they did it movie or a like lifetime movie yk, but this is a who did it type of movie. So therefore Xavier been out of the question the ENTIRE time for me 😁

I think bianca stalked Wednesday cause she could have taken the pictures. She was in the café when Wednesday met tyler (she was bringing her snoot back she left in the café remember). And she was there before Wednesday talked to xavier. But it could have been anyone really. But who doesn't really matter. The more important question is "why did that person give laurel the pictures? Why was that person working with them?". They must have a shared goal. Tyler knew bigger things where coming for Wednesday...I don't think he meant laurel.

I personally didn't like it. Jenna Ortega is a good enough actress but her Wednesday feels insincere. Like a try too hard edgy not-like-other-girls. She isn't effortlessly sarcastic and emotionless as Cristina's version. What worked about The Addams Family original show and 90's movies is that they were campy comedies. They were charming and funny. This show wants to be a supernatural teen drama like countless before. And unlike the majority of the fandom, I didn't felt *any* chemistry between Wednesday and Enid. Their friendship wasn't well developed and never felt genuine, Enid is probably the cringiest character in this show. I am genuinely mad that they decided to make Tyler evil, like, he was obviously the monster, but they had the chance to create a conflicted character by him not remembering of being concsious while in monster form. Besides he *did* actually had chemistry with Wednesday.

The fact that they made Tyler evil is the only thing that I like about him being tve culprit. The fact that it will be him was too obvious for me, but the fact that he knew what he was doing and was enjoying it was the real surprise. So if you remove it, you remove the only not predictable thing about it. Also hopefully it will prevent us from an arc where Wednesday forgives him and goes back to date him. (Also don't disrespect Enid like that, she is funny and we need more characters like her in the spotlight)

I find the show enjoyable but I think it is more because I like the characters (mainly Wednesday and Enid) and their acteurs, thab the plot in itself that was generic. Something I don't like in mystery shows is how the culprit is always the one you would have not suspected, that is to say a closed one of the main character, usually a lover. It is annoying cause it becomes so predictable. I can enjoy it if well written, and I think the actor did a good job playing Tyler, but as a plot it was too easy for me. The only thing I liked is that they didn't play it as "he didn't know what he was doing and he is a good guy" but made him a real bad guy.
