This is crazy! The amount of black women I'm seeing on KZbin with hair this length. 4/b,c at that. If it wasn't for KZbin I'd have NO idea. The first time I thought it was possible was my early teens. My best friend, her mom, aunty, sister and cousins hair were ALL to mid back and past. And they weren't mixed. They all were deep dark GORGEOUS compexions. It blew my mind because I never seen it. My family has quite a mixture of tones of black but on the lighter side to extremely pale. Our hair is maybe 4/a to b but our hair has never grew the length of my friends family. I now know it's because they took the time to give their hair TLC. My family full of gorgeous women, we're a tad bit more rough and rugged and didn't spend the time to tend to hair care as my friends family. You now see my family over the years giving more feminine care and love to ourselves so the length is there. But no one has 4/c. I'm seeing 4/c hair on KZbin straight showin out and clowinin!! 😘❤I'm all eyes and ears!!👀

After realising I could wash my hair in twists, I've never turned back🤗 Anyways, I still use petroleum products and a sulphate clenser (along with a the creme of nature sulphate free shampoo that has been a great aid in detangling) in my hair routine. I almost exclusively use a hot oil treatment prior to washing to help with detangling as well. I used to condition before deep conditioning but I found it too hectic so that step was scrapped😋 Lastly, thank you for your amazing videos. As soon as water touches my hair the twist come out. I do prepoo and detangle before hand. What I've found is that there is too much manipulation if I aim to keep the twists in throughout the wash process. So now I start with my hair out detangled and only twist It at the D/C stage. One twist session = Less manipulation for me.
