Thank you TFL! Excellent review and just love to see a pickup that rarely struggles. As a 3.5L '17 owner, hills, towing, hauling, comfort, super crew full of full-size adults: my pickup and engine just don't care because it's not challenging. She's engineered from the ground up to do all those things and never complain. In fact, the more I ask of the pickup, the more at home the drive train is.

Could you please go back to the old style Ike gauntlet editing of videos, we wanna watch the whole run instead of showing us small 20second snippets of the run and then showing ads for the rest of the video. That’s why your Ike don’t get so many views anymore, because you don’t show us the trucks screaming up the Ike and working. This is constructive criticism from a long time viewer.

@@bamorris22 ahhh man the good old days, remember how they used to show us the downhill part with all brake applications, then Andre would measure the brake temperatures at the bottom of the hill with that infrared thing. Then they would turn around a go up the hill and we would watch those engines scream pulling the trailers going up the hill. These days we see none of that, the whole video mostly consists of GenY, Transwest/cimarron, and 5 star tuning. Actually I would rather they make the video 40 minutes long as long as they can include the full run and their ads.

Surprising results I must say, even though it’s 25k more, that hybrid made it look like child’s play, I am impressed coming from a GM fan here in moderately flat Indiana. I would live to test one of those F150 hybrids for myself a week or two and do videos. TFL has such awesome videos, so glad they tell the truth even after being shunned by some manufacturers. I love my 2010 GMC but have been looking at all Detroit manufacturers as of lately to decide what I’m buying next, even considering what Toyota may come out with. At the moment: Ford, a TRX, and the still to come next gen Tundra have my interests peaked. But still, what is GM hiding to release in 2021 on the Silverado or Sierra, who knows, so much to come, all this is so exciting for a 45yo man with a very good income to spare on the most bad ass truck coming out. It’s going to be hard to beat the TRX and F150 Raptor (and hybrid), can’t wait.

Good System on the F150. Hope that they do the same to the Heavier Trucks in the future such as Super Duty(Pickup truck, Chassis Cab and Stripped Chassis) in the form of Powerboost HD with heavier duty and more powerful electric motor, larger batteries, and more powerful Pro Power On Board coupled with 6.2l or 7.3l adapted, modified and tuned for hybrid driving and as a mobile generator. This will give extra torque and efficiency(lightly loaded or downhill) for Gasoline Powered Heavy Duty Trucks without the expense in acquisition, maintenance, and parts of Diesel Engines as well as being a mobile generator for applications such as Electric PTO, Mobile Power Source and etc. for vocational and recreational use. But anyways Good Review, keep it up.

@@josephkordinak1591 what are you saying is on par. I'm hoping your talking the 3.5 and at that point if still wonder if it was a 6.2 if it was the ls family 6.2 not the newer LT family. In fact my father-in-law had to borrow my 08 truck with a 5.3 LS family to pull his music trailer when his 2018 3.5 ecoboost was in the shop (oil change and other maintenance items) he never picked the truck back up he went straight to the sales department and ask if they had a v8 5.0 and thats what he left with. The little turbo v6 are impressive ive driven a few including the smaller 2.7 one and they do build boost fast and id go as far as saying the 3.5 does compare to the newer LT family 5.3 and close to the older LS family 6.2 or 6.0. I'd also say that's why Ford is going to put the 6.8L in the 150 and mustangs as far as that goes.
