The mother had pulled up in front of a store and was 3 feet away filling water jugs when the car was stolen. Yup. Back when I was a kid the advice me and my cousins had was that if we ever get lost or separated (which never happened thank goodness) from the grownups is that we return to the place where we know they would go (the parking lot where the vehicles were parked or the police station which they pointed us the locations just in case, etc) and never go with someone no matter how convincing they were. It wouldn't have happened to us since almost all the grownups in our extended fam kept an eye on the kids and we as kids were too scared to wander off but it was still a possibility. So even though it was cold, and she felt really lost, atleast she was found by the cops. Such a good girl, though I felt really bad because she almost froze to death.

Man really could you imagine how terrified she was? I've got 4 children I couldn't imagine this... But then again I don't go into stores and leave what I care about the most in a car. I can rememebr when I was really little my dad left me for a long time in a hot car while he went into a large store, probably my earliest memory, I was in my car seat playing with a heman figure and was so thirsty, why don't parents give a damn?
