Hey Paul, another nice video!. Did you bring that water line up into your exterior wall or did you bring it farther inside? I'm bringing water into my pole barn for a wash sink/tub inside the barn. Barn won't be heated so I'll have to drain it anyway for the winter. I really don't want these pipes sticking out of the floor well within the barn just to protect them a little more if I can avoid it. Thank you

Thank you! I ended up bringing it in about a foot I think. I wanted to bring it inside the footer on the slab and be able to use it without worry if I do leave it on when the building is heated. If you will be draining it anyway it shouldn’t be a problem in the wall I don’t think. For accessibility tho you may want it just inside the wall.

Very interesting! - I have never seen that shut off valve / set up before - What about having a tracer wire for your water line? - I'm a Staunch DIY'er - Good Job! - Thanks for your videos!

Thank you! Yes it’s a pretty neat set up on the shut off valve. Tracer wire could be a good idea if you ever want to find it again. Not sure if you’ve ever seen that trick but you can also use a wire fish tape and send it down the waterline and trace it that way too.

Where did you get the shut off valve from? Dealer or local hardware store?

I got it from a local dealer. 2m. I think most plumbing supply places that aren’t big box stores would have it.

Shouldn't of skimped on the hose clamps. Once from home Depot and Lowe's are stainless stee but the screw is not. It will eventually rot out
