So in that circumstance, since Davina and Jack really loved each other, and there as no kids as a excuse to be pushed away, Tom couldn’t compete with him.

I think the writers really overestimated how much the audience liked Davina! She got far too much screen time, far too many storylines, when they could have given some more character development to people like Jasmine, Matt, even Grantly. She’s involved in every storyline but she’s such an unlikeable character. Having her go off with Jack would have been the perfect way to write her out!! god knows why they thought we’d want to see more of her, the character ran its course after the Brett affair came out! The entire show seems to revolve around her and I’ve no idea why when there are far better characters and actors! Don’t get me started on the pointless relationship with Tom.. They’ve no chemistry.

He adores his wife, he even tried to say sorry to Rachel (despite not truly meaning it) but still and for his wife, cut down on gabbling and started to improve a bit as a teacher, and would’ve never done that In the past. Later on in Waterloo road he had a dream favourite students (most notable Harley) and going back to series 3, he let Kayla reset the exam after sending her out, even though he didn’t like the idea he still did it. So at times he can be nice, but he doesn’t like to show it.

This is so stupid! There is nothing between Tom and Davina! He cares more about the girls (not that there’s anything wrong) but it’s like he can’t move on. It seems like Davina and jack missed each other and where both never the same after the breakup, and it was all going so well between Davina and Jack before Tom came. But Davina is also to blame as she is just a massive flirt who keeps changing her mind. Well jack said to Davina “tell him” he was right about their plans together as Davina pretty much agreed but then when jack tried to get her to admit to Tom, she wouldn’t say anything. She totally backstabbed both of them in a way, and Jack and Davina would of been a actual couple. At the same time Davina gets worse when she is single, she keeps switching over.
