Haiden and Brian worked so hard for that possition and earned the right to do just that. The teams will have to come up with something real good to get them on their team. Sure hope Hadiden can stay injury free and win the championships he worked so hard for. Very impressive family and they have done so much for MX through their youtube channel aswell, wish them all the best. Go Deegans

Coming from somebody who never hopped on a 250f and went straight from 125/250 2 strokes straight to 450s I still prefer my 98 kx250 over my 12 crf450 I too rode that same 21 yz250f and I’ll say that I was completely amazed with it and was expecting a huge shortage on power compared to my 2 stroke and 450 but there really wasn’t and not to mention the amazing handling and just great linear power delivery. If I could find a good deal on a newer yz250f I would buy one in a heart beat after riding one!

I doubt they would be allowed to do it. The AMA has just made a rule saying they own the rights to anything filmed at the races and they can have whatever they want taken down. There's no way they would give Deegan any power or ability to challenge their authority. The sport is going to be 6-8 factory guys in the 450s and a handful of privateers with a bunch of empty gates soon.

I would be stoked to see a Deegan38 pro MX team and I know I'm not alone. It would be a game changer and show the clout that social media has in marketing today. Brian Deegan deserves to take a step back and just be a dad if he chooses, but he doesn't seem like the guy that would be satisfied with that in the longterm.
@deckmonkey1459

Running his own team will never happen but he's probably using it as leverage. If you watch the video on Cooksey media about how the people in charge basically shutdown Chad and RCH and now MotoConcepts is leaving to go to areancross for the same reasons. The AMA has now made a rule that says they own all the footage shot at the races and can ban it or kick you out if they don't approve it. That includes all GoPro video or anything the Deegans have going on so I can see them not being allowed to post it on their social media which would kill the team. Gypsy talked to Mike Grondahl about it in his interview as well.

To be real he's made me want a KTM. Haiden and Seeley made me want one. When Cole said if you're a privateer you need to be on a KTM and seeing Haiden prove they win it convinced me they're the best bike. But big corporate brands are never satisfied and they always get greedy and think the grass is greener.

I remember hearing some details that Jase and the Gypsy Tales guys told Brian like bro, be as candid as you want, we won't air ANYTHING that you don't want us to. And I also remember there being a flood of videos as soon as we heard Danger Boy was officially on Star Yamaha. But I always really respected both Brian and Jase for that, because Brian's right, he's had a relationship with KTM for a long term, that's not just chop liver, that means something, but at the end of the day you have to do what's best for you, and you have to hope your partners can understand and respect that. And hell, who knows, in a few years Haiden may very well be back on KTM in the 450 class, much crazier things have happened in the sport.
