They should really consider, selling just the case of the Corsair one. I bet it would be a huge hit and they already have the tooling for it.

@The2808erik5 жыл бұрын
Abraham Lincoln It’s not the same idea or form factor though, how you got a res.-pump combo in there and a 240 radiator is beyond me. I played with the idea in the rvz03 from silverstone it’s sexier than the node 202 and you can get a slim 240 with fans in there no problemo. It would still be loud and hot, defeats the point.
@ItsZim05 жыл бұрын
I think Hardwarecanucks asked the same question back at CES. As I recalled the reason was there are a lot of proprietary parts like the radiators.

A note about what Jay said concerning swapping hardware and motherboards without conflicts: I recently updated from a MSI Z97 motherboard and i5-4690K to an ASUS Prime Z390-A + i7-9700K. Post-update Windows would not recognize my computer as the 'same' device because the motherboard and processor had changed. I tried to reconnect my 'new' device to my Microsoft account to activate Windows, but it failed every time. I managed to get a free Windows 10 Pro code though, thanks to having access to Microsoft Azure with a student e-mail. Besides that Windows BS, I used the same boot drive without re-installing the OS, and I have had zero issues. Eventually I will do a clean Windows install onto my new SSD, but I can't be bothered at the moment! :)
