Glad you are taking the time to clean the barn up. I agree with you, save the old harness equipment and eventually you can hang it in an area somewhere in the barn as decoration.

Wow! That barn is a BIG project! Refurbishing it will take many weekends. Don't forget to wear a dust mask. You never know what lurks in the old dust.
