@@SpankinDaBagel I agree with having multiple content creators, but it is nice to know there's a one-stop shop if you want the latest news even if it's just the highlights. Kinda like a SportsCenter for Smash or eSports in general. There are plenty of other shows for the passionate or the talented around SC on ESPN (First Take, The Jump, NFL Live, Around the Horn, Pardon the Interruption, etc.), plus other sports channels or channels dedicated to specific sports, but you can usually rely on SC to be the show to watch for a concise highlight reel of things.

Incineroar being the first super heavy to make it this far is honestly hysterical to me, largely because I always personally had a rough time against this character, and I realize that nearly any past tier list had shrugged them off as mid tier. While Skyjay’s results haven’t been the most consistent in the past, I’m curious how much this leads newer or lower level players to pick up the character rather, than use other heavies.

awesome to see the unique PGStat style again. Absolutely amazing team its so great to see them making content with you. One gripe i had w PGStats videos that I saw poke through a little bit is the overly intricate graphics. Whoever does the infographic design on the team is a legend, but showing a massive chart or spread sheet (8:19) while you talk about individual instances for 30s felt disconnecting. A past video from the PGStats channel that stuck out in my mind bc of this is "How This Sephiroth Mastered the Art of Survival." Contrast this with a video from ur Frame Data series, where you show an individual interaction with supplemental stats or frame data info. tl;dr i think the infographics can get a little too 'all-encompassing' without really contextualizing the hard hitting points the data is meant to prove. The script takes care of that, but i think talking about data on a slide in short form content can be disengaging.

I don't play much ultimate but I have always felt like incineroar was better than people thought. Yes it's slow but he hits incredibly hard and has decent options. I'd say combos but ultimate doesn't really have combos.

The biggest takeaway from this should be to remember, the Tier List was not created by Nintendo, it was created by a bunch of tournament snobs. That doesn't mean it's wrong, but it also doesn't mean it's the end all be all of who should or can be played. In fact, sometimes playing a "lower tier" character can give you an advantage due to the sheer fact that your opponent has no idea what their counters are.
