Great to see you back on the road, intrepid has ever despite the weather. We’ve never been to Cornwall, but it’s definitely on our list once our van build is finished, probably early next year (Propex heater fitting this week) Thanks for another great video, safe travels.

Steve hulme Thanks Steve, it was great to get away for a week and see some of our beautiful country. You’ll love Cornwall! There’s some cracking places down here. Good luck with the rest of your build. What van do you have?

Hi Guys, we’re well on the way to finishing our Peugeot Boxer van which in bought back in August after selling our Motorhome! We had just got back after 9 weeks in France & Spain, our first big trip after I retired. Anyway we realised that a self build camper van would be more fun and so it began. 3 months on and I can now appreciate how much work goes into a van build. To be honest it’s been really enjoyable, but we are now at the point when we just want it finished so we can start exploring Scotland again before heading into Europe next year. It’s been great following Your adventures, you’re an inspiration.

Steve hulme That sounds great! Yeah tonnes of work goes in to them but you’re right they’re good fun and you can design it exactly to your needs which we loved. I hope it all goes well with completing it and hopefully soon enough you’ll be off reaping the rewards. Thanks for watching our content all the best 🙂

You are in the right van for that weather as they used to Rockfield a boat lol so it's suited to torrential rain Nice part of the world down there Great video

Haha so true! Yeah it's lovely here, we've gained a lot more love for our homeland after exploring some more of it. Thanks for watching. All the best

@@FromRustToRoadtrip More people should explore their own part of their country The best way for a person to enjoy their local area is to not use a satnav and try and get lost lol but that way they'll find places they never knew existed

Wouldn't worry about the Exeter Services roundabout, we live right next to it, people knock themselves out on it daily!

I was so pleased to see you going round and round at Exeter. That's what I always do and usually give up and go elsewhere. Try it at night it's even funnier. I thought it was just me😡

Hazel Hahaha don’t worry this video seems to have pulled a few of us out of the wood work so I’m feeling much better about my driving now 😃 wouldn’t fancy it at night!

Brett Bradbeer you’re right about the weather! Saying that, this summer wasn’t too bad for a change :) yeah the overlander was so fun to drive and we loved the farm animals. We’d have a van goat if we could haha

Did you ever find out what the problem was when it shuddered and died? Never had something like that happen in a diesel van but an old VW T2 I had, which had a petrol engine,suffered the odd water related incident.
@FromRustToRoadtrip6 жыл бұрын
Black Dog Vantrails Nope! Haha no idea but all we can think is some rain got in somewhere it shouldn’t and confused the ECU. It’s thankfully been totally fine since 😃
@wobbleboxadventures6 жыл бұрын
Exeter services is a devil hate it lol great vlog as always guys
Weird things happen to vehicle electrics when driving in biblical rain like that - I suspect water got into somewhere it wasn't meant to be, causing your ECU to tell lies :)
@FromRustToRoadtrip6 жыл бұрын
Rick Hurst Yeah that’s what we were thinking- we’ve had no problems since so fingers crossed it was just the ECU having a bit of fun with us!
