I am so pleased that I finally bought an air fryer - and especially pleased that I paid attention to the positive reviews of other users, and decided on this one kzbin.infoUgkxD4Qeo-HRLxMfom_PDinM_SBfes00qJsB . It is just perfect for the two of us, and takes up very little space on my small countertop. I roasted salmon filets for dinner tonight and they were the best ever - slightly crispy on the outside but moist inside. Best of all, no smelly kitchen or difficult clean-up. My only complaint would be the lack of even a few printed recipes to get started. My generation does not find it easy to access the QR code and use the smart phone app. I bought a recipe book instead, which gave me the confidence to experiment.

I bought one of those air fryer trays to turn my convection oven into an air fryer and I could not be happier - one less appliance in my small kitchen and a bigger tray than most air fryers have. Awesome. I just received the exact same air fryer a couple of weeks ago as a gift! We are using it so much since then - so I’m very excited about some more ideas. What goes really well in there, are also burger patties (like beyond meat). Mushrooms (like you did) are also a favorite of us, as well as sweet potato chunks. Great video, as usual! I didn't read a lot of comments to know if others suggested this, but I totally recommend using precooked potatoes and then air fry. Talk about a game changer!! Grab some steamed or baked potatoes out of the fridge, slice how you like them, or cut in half and scrape with fork. The seasonings will grab on to the cold, moist potato. Air fry 7 minutes, toss and cook 6 or 7 more minutes... Air fry heaven!!!

Thank you!!!!! My hubby brought home 2 packs of okra las week. (ugh!) I cooked one pack and they were ok... a tiny bit too slimy for my taste, so the second pack sat sadly in the fridge until today! Following your idea, I decided to air-fry them! They were cut in 3/4 inch rounds and seasoned with smoked paprika, garlic powder, and a spice mix rarely use. They air-fried for 20 min at 350 F. They were so nice, and crunchy, very little to no-slimyness...and yes, I ate it all! Y'all had me laughing :) I'm on my 2nd AF (wore the first one out and when it died I bought a new one that same day). It's great for the cooked items in big salads or burrito bowls. Just throw in some mushrooms or sliced zucchini, AF to perfection then throw in your salad or bowl. Almost anything you bake in the oven comes out faster and better in the AF. For potatoes if you want bigger fries it works better to pre-cook the potatoes to almost done. One of my favs is taking a fully cooked potato and just kind of mash/smash it up in the air fryer, sprinkle with garlic powder and black pepper, drizzle with hot sauce and/or soy sauce and air fry for a few minutes. It come out sort of crispy in places (leave the skins on) and still soft and creamy in other places. Can't explain but it's amazing. I call it smashed potatoes. Another thing I've done with leftover oatmeal is shape it into balls AF for a few minutes. ps: I hardly ever clean my air fryer. I consider it 'seasoned' as well LOL.
