Your new home is beautiful! My five children are much older, but we did a big move when the youngest was in 2nd and the oldest was in 8th grade. We had a going away party where they each invited their best buddies. We took lots of pictures and created a book for them each to have as a reminder. I know your children are young, but maybe saying goodbye to favorite parks, the house,bedroom, backyard, friends, family etc and taking photos to make a coffee table book for Max to look at and be able to express his feelings about leaving would help?

the home is just beautiful i look forward to seeing some stanczyks style in there. Moving tips for kids pack pretty much all there toys apart from one some bag that is stay out and can easily transport in the car. When packing wrap your glass wear in tea towels, towels and pillowcases this saves on using wrapping paper and bubble wraps. We have done this for many moves and interstate moves and nothing has broken. When i have moved i always started in the kitchen as it was a big job. I always declutter m,y house before moving as i dont want to pay for the things i dont want to be transported especially if i can sell or re home them.

Oh my goodness, I just sent an email on that new sight saying I'm so interested in this. We are planning on moving to Florida this year! Would love to know more. And yes, we have lived in Colorado our entire lives, and raised our six children here. But my husband is retiring and it is just too expensive to stay. Saying goodbye to friends and family is going to be soooo hard. Hoping they all want to move there or visit a lot.

I love your new home! When we were searching for our first house we ended up building and chose a builder with the same vision to use recycled materials. Our home isn’t using solar panels, but our carpet is from recycled plastics and our windows are efficient. I wish we chose the tankless water heater, and regret not doing that now. Maybe on the our retirement home.

we live in south florida too, but we are moving back to Siesta key or Sanibel Island- we have lived in many different parts of the country but Florida is the best-(i am from there)… nothing beats Siesta Key and the powdery white sand of the beaches there!!!! love u guys, congrats on the new house !!! i love it and hope to find something like that too !! sending you love and light-
