If you might like to listen to more Jinjer, I think you’d really enjoy “Perennial (Live at Wacken Open Air 2019)” and “Teacher, Teacher”-and that’s just to name two among many others! And if you might like to hear another female vocalist with awesome growls, I can also vouch for Arch Enemy’s “Nemesis” (live at Wacken 2016). And just as a preemptive heads-up: If you might like to pronounce “Wacken” like the locals, one would say “Vah-ken.” (In German, “W” is pronounced like a “V” is in English.) I’m only mentioning that part just since most folks seem to stumble over that one a bit.

For everyone who's not into heavy music, screamo is a sub genre that came out of hardcore (specifically emo) which itself came to be out of punk, so it has very little to do with metal. In the 2000s and early 2010s it was also a name given a lot to mainstream post-hardcore and metalcore bands which is also how it got associated with metal in the first place, but in reality it has very little to do with those. Actual screamo bands are bands like Sleeping Body, Heroin, Orchid, Portrayal of Guilt etc. which is more related to grindcore, emoviolence and powerviolence than bands like Black Veil Brides and whatever else people were calling "screamo" at the time.

Alissa White-Gluz (and before her Angela Glassow) in Arch Enemy and Floor Jansen now of Nightwish (check the song Yours is an Empty Hope) but in her old band ReVamp see the song Wild Card as an example. These are examples of female growlers using the Fry Scream or False Chord growl. Tatiana is an amazing talent, I've seen them live in person, amazing. My favorite song live is Who is Going to Be the One. Just found your channel, literally first impression because I love watching Jinjer reactions, I was impressed as hell when you called Tati's badassery immediately. Everyone else is distracted by the pretty music , but you saw her strength instantly. My favourite part of this reaction was unlike every other reaction I've seen because it wasn't the shock (which is entertaining) but when you got to the lyrical analysis I REALLY wanted your takes on the song. This is a personal favourite from watching them perform live. I'm now off to watch your Nightwish reaction, 'cause I'd like to see you two Floored but I just wanted to say thanks for checking this out and thanks for being yourselves.....

If you like women who can growl you might enjoy Kittie.

Not enough reaction channels pay attention to the lyrics. Glad to see people who appreciate Tatiana's poetry.

quite a few Jinjer fans didn't do metal before falling for Teti. btw, Pisces is not their best song

It's easily their best song, but it's only a small sample of kinds of music they make!

Almost have to admit this is the best song to introduce someone to Jinjer because of the shock value.

@Morbid Angel is better than Death well.. can't say I came to dig the entirety of metal, but at least now I appreciate Eths, Suicide Silence, Walls of Jericho, Wolf Down, Gojira, Blessthefall, Northlane, etc

@@Red-Brick-Dream nowhere near their best song. Lol. Just the song ppl who are new to Jinjer are introduced to because nobody expects her to sound like that.

You're one of the few reactions that actually dug into the lyrics, which was really cool. Awesome job!

There's a few great female leads that can do great growls but Tatiana's are completely unique. My advice to you is just watch every video they have there's not a single bad one.
