You can spend $200 and already have something much nicer on your wrist that will last longer. Also depends what your position/country is. Like, I agree spending 5k on a watch is just luxury for the sake of luxury. But if you're on 6-7 figures and talk to CEOs/execs/investors all day in nice suits, dropping $5k on a watch is standard. A $10 walmart watch would look stupid.
