I am sorry about your troubles with YT...please hang in there. I have told you before how much I really enjoy your work. You are the only reactor I have found that has given Tom Waits, Leonard Cohen, Nick Cave, real chances to impress. So here is one more. The first four albums by Marillion with Fish writing lyrics are so much down your alley it's ridiculous. I literally lost myself in those albums my entire freshman year of college. I am a philosophy major and I am telling you, the music and especially the storylines of those albums will consume you. Even if you don't react, please, please take some time to explore Marillion - Script For A Jester's Tear, Fugazi, Misplaced Childhood, and Clutching At Straws...please...you and your intellect deserve it.

Meddle was a great reaction too. I think the Beatles released Strawberry Fields Forever as a single before Sgt Peppers was released, people didn’t believe it was the Beatles. A distinct point that parts the early period from the late period.

Another problem when videos get blocked is that all the original messages left by viewers are permanently lost which is a shame because a lot of the comments and opinions are interesting and valid.

Wow, if I follow you correctly, you are being prevented from using your knowledge and experience to critique some music - and were stopped. Amazing, but not surprising, nowadays. If the critique was not so positive they stop you. If you praised them to the heavens, you get blocked. In days of old, philosophers got around this by praising a leader when their readers knew that they meant the opposite.

It really makes you wonder about the "fair use" clause in the copyright laws... Elizabeth from the Charismatic Voice explains it fairly well as copyrighted material being open for fair use if it's used for instruction or for the "transmission of knowledge" ( I am paraphrasing ). Isn't that exactly what he's doing on this channel? Rick Beato gets killed with blocking...his channel seems the definition of fair use. I just don't get it...

I do not see the point. Rick Beato's channel is constantly hassled like this. You can listen to practically anything on youtube anyway. It actually helps the artist get noticed by people with these reaction vids and then they go to the official channel to hear it "clean" if they like it. Edit: btw... your reaction to Politzania is still the best.

Darcy, I find when I watch free Patreon videos of creators I am not supporting that I need to scroll down the page. The membership levels scroll by and then the actual posts by the creator show. If a video is not free, it will show as "locked" or "join." But if the creator has made it available for free, it should say "unlocked." Let me know if that helps.

@@darcysalas3042 No judgement here. I'm not quite eligible for disability, but I'm not far off from it either. What do you need to know? If you're not a Patron of a Patreon creator, most of the content will be unavailable. However, when a creator such as Daniel makes a free post or video available, anyone can access it by going to the creator's Patreon page, scrolling down past the membership level sign up, and looking for posts which say "unlocked." Then all you need to do is click on the word unlocked and the post should load fully for you.
