In the books, Alice in Wonderland had the queen of hearts, who was constantly yelling, "off with their heads!". She kinda had a playing cards theme. Then, in the sequal "through the looking glass", mirror-land was made up like a chess board and there was a white queen and a red queen in the middle of a war. This movie kinda smooshed both characters together, so that's why the white queen has chess pieces and the queen of hearts has cards.

I love Disney movies so much! This film is so extremely good love it, also one of my favorite Disney live action movies. But I also like the second live action remake that they made but this is definitely my #1 favorite out of the two if I had to choose between the two. They also made a show a couple years ago called Once Upon a Time in Wonderland. Would love to see you react to it and to see more collab videos with Welchy and others. In the book of Through the Looking Glass, and What Alice Found There there is actually a Red Queen and a White Queen , both at war. The Red Queen is meant to be different character from Queen of Hearts but Tim Burton mixed them together
