A Gerber design that I actually like. What saves this design is that is does not try to do anything more than be a tiny blade that is still functional. It works due to the light weight, decent sharpness, and a utilitarian blade shape that is useful for pulling cuts.

Cool little blade. It would make a good E & E tool, for cutting your way out of cordage or zip tie restraints.

Probably not good as a box cutter if that is your job, but looks ideal for opening packages you get in the mail. Usually you cut the tape that holds them closed anyway, not the box itself. Been looking for something to replace my cheap pos Stanley keychain box cutter which broke.

I just ordered 3 for me and some coworkers. I work at a phone store, these will be perfect to add to our lanyard tags instead of having to carry knives.

That would be a good choice for a situation where your knife isn't allowed or was taken. For example you could use this to get out of duct tape because no one is going to think a zip can hold a knife. Useful little tool, I'll have to pick one up at some point. Thanks for the review.

I ordered two.. one for myself and the other as a gift, but when I open the packege the first thing I notice is that the knife came pretty dull and some brown stains in the blade, and the back of the knife ( the part that makes contact with the lock) it was pretty wear and miss shaped.

I was excited when spyderco came out with their titanium dog tag. The price however kept me from buying it. For the size I think the price should be alot lower. I understand premium materials (titanium,s30v) have alot to do with it. I plan on getting one of these.

When you mentioned the knife breaking or whatever when used as a boxcutter it gave me a thought: A few weeks ago I was breaking down a LOT of cardboard, and at some point I noticed the knife blade was becoming very hot from the friction of the cardboard against the sides. Do you know if it be possible to screw up the tempering with heat from friction during use? I didn't think so but I was surprised at how hot it got and I stopped for a while to let it cool off lol.

There are some people like me who doesn't carry stuff at all. I don't have tattoos, I don't use necklaces, earrings, hats, watches nothing at all unless I really need. I only carry a wallet and a cell phone when I absolutely need it but I am trying to change this to get used to carry a wallet, a cell phone, a flashlight, a knife and a multi tool. I am saying all that because a knife from this size and lightweightness means that you won't carry anything if you are not willing to carry something so light and small. So a knife like this is what works for someone who is not used to carry a lot of stuff and makes a nice gift for someone who not used to carry a knife then when you get used to this you can move to something bigger but I hate to be a pain in the ass and babble about Cold Steel again but Cold Steel makes better choices for tiny knives.

That looks like an interesting little thing, and I could see it coming useful now and again. And at that price, it's worth it just for fun. It never ceases to amaze me what some people do to perfectly innocent knives. I mean, look at the thing. What in the world would convince anyone with the slightest gleam of intelligence to think it was a hard use knife ? People that stupid should not be allowed out on their own for their own and other's safety ( I've worked with a few people like that before now - they are a danger to all around them).

It's not a box cutter and that's not cardboard you are cutting your so called box cutter has trouble cutting corrugated container board ect the brown box cereal box is your cardboard
