Are “Big Pharmaceutical” companies involved in this info? Surprise that was not discussed. For myself, 70 yrs old female, FOOD as my medicine along with regular exercise in the pool was extremely helpful for me over time. I took meds for over 7 years, Alendonate. I don’t smoke, drink and love my pool…. Still got several vertebrae fractures and had a nightmare with a tooth extraction. I build MEANINGFUL bone density naturally with Keto/carnivore diet, intermittent fasting for autophagy healing, continue aquatic exercises with small dumbbell weights, walking and meditation with the practice of good posture worked best for me. Dexa scan improved as well as bone turnover marker. Will reevaluate in another year and see if still improving. Great info for mulling over.

so glad to hear your Dexa improved without meds! I would like to avoid these drugs. They are actually metabolic poisons but that's all the medical world has for us at this time.

I don’t feel comfortable taking the medication due to many side effects.However IAm not in a great place my Dexa test is very low?

I am 69 got osteoporosis and got fibromyalgia just had lumber spine x.ray got a superior fracture on T11. Just had blood tests in preparation for infusion zolentorate(sorry might spelt wrong)Was advised not to have tablets cause got g.e.r.d and hiatus hernia. Am worried about muscle ache because suffer with muscle pain with fibromyalgia

If you're still checking comments, I tried Fosamax a year ago with really bad digestive symptoms. I began to think that the medication was harming me more than helping. I earlier had taken Aromatase Inhibitors that were not even needed. I quit after about 11 months but they gave me osteoporosis, arthritis, and hair loss. the latter cleared up upon quitting. I fear messing myself up worse again.
