honestly, i think the groom was aware and just has so little respect for his wife and everyone there that he just did his dumb little jokes for himself anyway. any person who would even consider pulling a stunt like that at their own wedding is someone who just doesnt care. sure, he may be totally lacking in self-awareness, but its equally as likely that he is totally aware and just doesnt give a shit. his little giggles to himself while everyone else is dead silent, only to continue the jokes & giggles screams "aware & doesnt care," to me. 🤷♀️

@@Hekeepblessingme Marriage isn't like a school group project. You don't get randomly assigned someone only to find out you're the only one putting any effort into the group project. Marriage is like "teh" most important union-ship a person can commit to. You're suppose to date for several months (or even years) before deciding that's your forever person. So again, it's not it was a random fluke that she got assigned to a random loser. She purposely dated this man. Learned and discovered everything that he is, and all his mannerisms -- and she still chose to marry him. Would you marry this man? Do you think this man is intelligent enough to manipulate you into marrying him? I won't downplay that he's an idiot, but you can't act like the woman is an innocent victim when she willingly signed up for this. Marriage isn't random. It's not forced. It's something you have to intentionally plan out, organize, and participate in. No one accidentally gets married like this.

@@nauscakes1868 What you don't realize is that relationships are very complicated and many people get into and stay in emotionally abusive or taxing relationships with people who don't value them for all sorts of reasons. It's not black and white. This type of rhetoric is the same that leads to people victim blaming abuse victims because, "oh, clearly they should've known" or "well, they beat them up and emotionally abused them so much! Why do they stay?". Just like we don't know if he's abusive, we also don't know how long she's put up with this behavior, how long she's convinced herself that he does love her, how long she's believed in him getting better. We don't know how she's been raised or how many other relationships she's been in or even if she's religious. There are so many factors that could play into why she's still with him that just saying it's also her fault is tone deaf. The only thing we do know is what we can take from this video, that she deserves better.

related to the vids of dudes cake-smashing their wives: so yeah, one huge red flag for a narcissist is they like to ruin holidays and special events. The pressure to get married young is INTENSE in rural areas. This looks like it came from one of those areas. I come from one of those areas too, and it's been like a constant pressure ever since I got into highschool (yes into highschool, not out of highschool). There's this whole idea that your focus should always be getting married and starting a family over everything else. Sure, do school, do college, do your job... but only to a point. And while you're doing it, you should also be dating and cultivating a relationship. Your worth is almost entirely in how soon you get married and have kids, and you face an intense stigma if you aren't married with kids. At any social gatherings, you could be a single world-renowned neurosurgeon or something, but you'd still be treated "lesser" than the 20-year-old couple with 4 kids and minimum-wage jobs.
@shadow-squid487210 ай бұрын
@@amierithThat mindset is absolutely horrendous. It’s such an outdated social standard to outright expect someone to have kids instead of focusing on every other facet of their life first, it’s why so many dumb people end up having so many kids when they’re clearly not ready to or capable and then people act surprised when the parents do a poor job at raising them right and the cycle continues. It’s such an entitled thing to think that you or someone else is more important as a person just because they have a child
