Greg shows duping delight in every interaction. That's a covert smirk from being pleased about tricking the person he is talking to. Pause the video to freeze his face and you can see it. In other words, every interaction is another gamble for him - will he get away with his lies or not? - that's what gives him a thrill. It's just like when he bet against Gail without the cards to back it up. This guy's brain is 100% conditioned to look for the next gamble, not to figure out a way to care for his wife and future child. HOWEVER. At core, he likes to WIN. That's why he excelled at the baby challenge. It was a game to him and he was willing to throw everything he had at it. If that aspect of his mind could be redirected, he could become a guy who excels at everything in his life.

While his behaviour in the show was surprising and encouraging, that single-minded focus on the baby is a character trait... that kind of focus can as easily apply to gambling again, if there isn't a sustained huge daily change. So I wish them luck.

This show was 15-20 years ago. Imagine what kind of debt they would be in now in todays high inflation !

Not all junkies have missing teeth and scarred veins, and he’s one of them. I hope she didn’t marry him.

My ex would spend money like water. We paid off credit card andcwithin 6 months he got another line of credit. He sent 300 dollars to a stipper and got mad at me when l got upset 😡 few months later l left. Im in my 60s and ill health the stress was killing me. Today he has more credit cards again and complains about it. I polished my budget recently and as savvy as l am a had a family friend do the once over for adjustments. Good advice 😊

This guy is totally selfish centered and immature. She needs to run and run fast. He will gamble again and he will lie again.
