The Kokichi execution might be even more brilliant than the creator(s) intended, because it doesn’t just play on Kokichi’s compulsive lying, it plays on his distrust, his desire to best Monokuma, his desire to analyze everything, and possibly his desire to preserve himself. I can just see him stressing with the “Is this as Monokuma described, or does Monokuma actually want to torture me by getting me to stop lying? Is lying falling into his trap, or is telling the truth falling into his trap? And there’s no way he won’t kill me if I don’t die by the chair, absolutely no way...right? So he’s trying to get me to tell the truth for nothing? Or is he trying to get me to kill myself by just being me?”

i think it would be so cool if the questions kokichi had to answer were really personal and stuff that would reveal true kokichi underneath and would show the other classmates the real him and just reveal a lot of truth. the last question would be a huge one like “do you care for your classmates” or something and then he lies and says no and then dies he is distrustful and he doesn’t want anyone to know the true him or anything

True. Kokichi would likely do everything in his power not to give Monokuma the satisfaction of breaking him, but is unsure of HOW he's trying to go about it. Is he telling the truth, and he'll survive if he stops lying? Or is he trying to break his facade before killing him anyway (making it so him telling the truth was ultimately meaningless)? Either way, Ouma wouldn't want to show the sick people watching his inner vulnerability.

Maybe a ''Any last words?'': knowing how he lues to protect himself from everything and everyone, him saying the unspoken truth he has sealed (not only during the execution, but in the whole game), he probably would say ''No'', would give him one final shock, burring him in his lies, with the truth being said against his will (and proving his lies to be futile in the end), and his classmates facing a Kokichi who had more to said, but will remain silent forever.

So, as much as I love Kokichi going out in a maniacal laughter, I also had another thought. Obviously, I assume the in-game lie detector would be really accurate. However, remembering how actual lie detectors aren’t solid evidence, a thought came to mind. So let’s say that yes, he lies all the way through the execution. But the at the very end he says a truth. I’m not sure what exactly. Probably something like a tiny, barely audible “I’m scared...” kind of thing ‘cause of having to endure the zapping so much. But the machine marks it like a lie anyway and that’s the final zap. Kinda just jam in the fact that since he’s lied so much that even his truth will be seen as a lie.

@@burgerburger7975 there's no proof for the "gundham using his teleportation spells to save his devas" theory. besides, the devas were already a safe distance from gundham, and the whole speech he made before death was literally about "fighting for life" and stuff. it's way more plausible that gundham made the spell to save himself as a ditch effort, and since it's a simulation, monokuma making it look like he finished the spell, but then making it not work so gundham feels despair. it seems way more in character for both gundham and monokuma.

Keebo's execution is so sad... The way he's dehumanized, rendered to just a piece of trash breaks my heart. The worst part is how the other students treat him like he's less than human a lot of the time. I mean that could be the reason he commits murder in the first place. Also Kokichi being strapped to a chair with buckles across the front of him looks like a straight jacket which I think is a nice detail, symbolizing how crazy his villain act became.

@Stupider and Unnecessarier OOOOO like with every time he got shocked before there was a bright flash and then some kind of sound of pain from him, getting progressively louder with every shock as he's getting weaker and weaker and it's starting to hurt more and more so when it gets to the last question like "do you actually give a shit about anyone here" he's about to answer "no" and die right there, but maybe he nods and perhaps forgot to lie in his delirious state and whenever he would tell the truth (which he hadnt so far) there'd be a little green light that his classmates could see so when everyone would see the light maybe they'd get hopeful that he'd finally learn to stop lying in what would have been his final moments (maybe youd see shuichi's face light up and he'd start to crack a smile, thinking that they'd finally gotten through to him) but very soon after his body would have given up entirely after going through so much stress of constant electrocutions, one right after the other. literally just iMAGINE the amount of despair everyone would have felt (especially him realizing that he just broke his facade and accidentally opened up before he could cover it up with another lie)

Hm. How about this for Miu? So, the victim would be Kokichi. Her plan would’ve succeeded, and Kokichi would’ve died. She acts all devastated, putting on a right show and saying that when they were in the virtual world his headset must’ve short circuited and he must’ve been electrocuted. However, when Shuichi investigated the headset, he finds that there was nothing wrong. In the Class Trial, they find out about Miu’s plan. “Oh, give me a break! I _had_ to do it! That lying little dipshit could’ve killed any one of us! Besides, why are all of you acting like you miss him?! He was a pain in the ass! He couldn’t tell the truth to save his life! Who knows what he could’ve done to us?! You all should be thanking me instead of ganging up on me!” I imagine her execution would either have something to do with her Talent or her personality. Knowing Monokuma, he would find a way to combine both. One idea I had was that she’s put into a simulation and is electrocuted in... um... well, let’s just say that she was in death what she was in life. Horny as hell.

I think it would have been an interesting way to kick off Kaede's character arc (if Shuichi was the trial 1 murderer instead) if he hesitated but she pushed him to keep going. If pushing through the execution at her encouragement drove him to despair in his last moments it could further forward the idea that her normal blind encouragement won't always bring people happiness in a bad situation.

And how messed up would it be for her friends - a bunch of 15 year olds - to watch her SA’ed to death. My baby Kiibo having fear as his first and last emotion, himself and everything he loves being equated to trash. Kokichi’s compulsion getting exploited, Ryoma and Saihara dying surrounded by their trauma… literally everything about these deaths is a hellfest. @@nagitokomaeda9223 i'm going to use mikan as an example. she's a character who is established as having sexual trauma, but kodaka completely disrespects this by turning her into a fanservice character. there are countless scenes where he draws her in oversexualized positions, and he turns her into someone who constantly sexualizes herself for everyone else's benefit. and he gets away with this by using the excuse that she was traumatized to pretend that it's justifiable. he never portrays those scenes as anything other than fanservice, and the other characters don't bother to take it seriously. it's a very disrespectful portrayal of trauma responses. he literally only gave her a traumatic backstory so he could pretend that the fanservice scenes were okay.

I don't think he actually wanted to die. Kokichi is known to be a special type of liar. A compulsive liar. These people feel the need to lie so much that they speak it as freely as the truth. Wether it was from a horrible past or because he was just that awful is most likely unknown. Kokichi kept lying throughout this scrapped execution not because he wanted to die, but because he couldn't stop himself from lying. Yes, sometimes, he does lie on purpose, like when gonta died and others "called him out" on his "lie" and he covered up his feelings with another lie. Maybe in the end he did lie because he knew there was no going back, because his final question is "do you regret lying?" Either it could refer to his situation, or what he did during the death game. Whatever it was, he lies one final time and says "no." Before getting shocked with the final blow, stopping his heart and frying his brain.

I really like the idea that some people have that Kokichi would say the truth at the end, something like “I hope you guys escape.” But then say something like “but of course that’s just a lie,” which ends him. In the end of the game it’s shown that he really did just want to end the game like everyone else so I feel like that would be one of the most impactful ways for him to go.

Yeah it’s unfortunate she was BRAINWASHED to thinking all men suck. She’s a great character and it’s unfortunate the fandom seems to forget that’s how she was brought up. It’s clear we can see that she gets along with some of the guys but the one person she looked up to made her think different of men. Too bad people don’t realize this.

I think the questions in Kokichi's execution should go like this: "Do you regret your actions? Did that hurt? How about that? Come on! That one had to have hurt! Okay, how about that one? How about that one? That one? That? That?! That?!? That?!?! That?!?!? That?!?!?! THAT?!?!? THAT?!?!?!? THAT?!?!??!?!?! *THAT?!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!?* Do you think you can survive one more...?" I think this would fit the description given for this execution, as well as the personalities of the Monokubs, and the general tone of the Danganronpa executions.

I like that idea, but I feel like it might hit more if there’re more personal questions or things that would be truth bombs to the living cast members. I looked it up and did a bit of math, and on the high end there would be somewhere around 22 questions, but I could’ve done the math wrong, so we’ll just say 20. Since we know how much monokuma loved despair for the executed and the other students, he would likely use as many questions as he could to reveal more truths to the other players and to make it more painful for Kokichi. I would personally enjoy it more if 11 were personal questions and 9 were ‘did that hurt?’s. The reason why it’s eleven to nine and not ten to ten would be because I feel like the last question, as said in other comments, should be about regrets or lying, to make the other characters feel bad for him only right before he dies. I can’t think of all the questions or the answers to them, but I feel like I would personally prefer this organization. Yours is really cool, though, and I’m not saying it could be better, just stating my opinion.

Kiibo's execution absolutely breaks my heart. I feel for Kiibo, he just tries so hard wants to be and treated as human as everyone else and experience emotions. Most of the cast just treat him like he's unimportant to the group or nothing. His execution of him being treated as a piece of trash and only experiencing his first/last emotion at death is what kills me. And Tenko's execution; she may not be a character I'm fond of, but holy shit! I don't think I would be able to handle watching that execution! Tenko doesn't deserve that!

I like Kokichi's executions cause the questions were left a mystery. I like to imagine the Questions were made with the intent of being the very thing he lied about in the first place. The thing that sent him down a rabbit hole of lies after lies after lies which made him into a compulsive liar. And since he's a compulsive liar, I like to think that, as the question go on and on, he starts to get tired from all the pain he's going through and he loses thought process. (Since, I imagine the questions would be Yes or No questions. Which meant it would be easy to lie, be easy to say the opposite of the truth but oh so easy to know which the truth is simply by seeing Kokichi get electrocuted.) He'll loose track of his thoughts and starts to have a lot more trouble forming words and thoughts so- he'll do the thing he instinctively does. *Lie* He'll get every question wrong since he'll instinctively say a lie without thinking to much of it. After all, he can just say the Opposite of the truth. And IF he's the 5th execution. is execution has the possibility of being despairing to not only himself, but to the others aswell. His questions could get more personal towards his horrible backstory (theorized to behim being abused, bullied, neglected, shamed and shunned, etc...) And the other's would start to realize why he lies, why he's like this, why he does what he does, why he killed, etc... And imagine if his final question would be. "Do you hate the others?" "Yes, with all my heart. *I hate them all*" He gets electrocuted and- "PPPFFFFTTTT- HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!! I NEVER WANTED TO BE FRIENDS WITH ANY OF YOU MOTHERFUCKERS!!!!!!" *ZZZZZZZ* And Kokichi drops dead on the chair. A malicious smile on his face as his already porcelain face gets paler and more doll like. His final moments would be him being turned inyo a puppet. as a last 'fuck you' to Kokichi by monukuma

I love Kokichi, his character is very misunderstood, and overall, I honestly think he's a good person. In his own way. His execution fits him really well, but its also sad. Because, if what your saying is true, then, he can't not lie, meaning he's dying because he is being himself. It suits him, and would be a cool execution to watch, but its upsetting once you think about it.

I agree with you,, I think underneath all that character is just someone who wants to be a good person, my entire view changed on him after his last words. And I slowly realized he’s not a bad person generally. And his execution really is just disturbing imo. He did what he had to do in the end of the day and he did it for a reason. He’s morally gray in my opinion.

i think it would be so cool if the questions kokichi had to answer were really personal and stuff that would reveal true kokichi underneath and would show the other classmates the real him and just reveal a lot of truth. the last question would be a huge one like “do you care for your classmates” or something and then he lies and says no and then dies

Something else to add to Tenko’s execution concept is that she’s mentioned that she actually has a very low pain tolerance (first trial), so her taking hits and eventually getting overwhelmed and being weakened from that would make sense on top of the placebo effect

She is seen with a katana on her back, to make her remember that one time where she botched the mission. Little does she know, someone else(monokuma basically) was going to assasinate her. Maki assasinate the person she was oredered to assasinate, only to find out it was kaito. Maki was shocked, and monokuma killed her. Both kaito and maki died. (This is just like peko's execution lol) Sorry for my broken english, as english isnt my first language ^^;
