Cuban and Dominican. SNL has had Latino cast members, but Horatio Sanz and Fred Armisen were from South American countries (Chile for Horatio and Venezuela for Fred) and the two Latina cast members they had were Mexican (Noel Wells and the criminally underused Melissa Villasenor). And fun fact: Mercedes Ruehl (who is Cuban) auditioned to be a cast member on SNL during its terrible sixth season (1980-1981), but fortunately didn't make it, so SNL almost had a Cuban cast member before Marcello.

I have seen so many great cast members depart from the show, quite honestly I loved Pete Davison role playing Chad, I thought it was hard to find someone like him, but I was dead wrong. As a Fellow half Cuban🇨🇺 half Dominican🇩🇴, he is right. When us Cubans and Dominicans play baseball we put so much passion into it.
