But you can't EVOLVE Cubone into Alolan Marowak in Galar, it only evolves into a regular one. You just get Alolan Marowak, which already knows the move.

@@popper03244 no, because the egg will ALWAYS hatch into Cubone and CANNOT evolve into Alolan Marowak OUTSIDE of Alola. So you would have to send the Galar Hatched Cubone straight to Alolan Games and evolve it there, and then transfer it back to Galar, where it will only be able to learn it's signature move by relearning.

The reason Shedinja can learn Rest, Substitute, and Bide is because it evolves from Nincada, who is able to use those moves. Therefore, it wouldn't make sense to remove them from its learnset, as that would also entail removing them from Nincada's.

@HoopsandHipHop its funny that you had the Attract thing right after the Shedinja thing, but didnt mention in EITHER that Shedinja can know Attract despite being genderless as well. Shedinja will have the same moves as Nincada/Ninjask has upon its evolving because of how Shedinja is obtained, so if you taught Attract to Nincada before evolving it, Shedinja will know it as well.

I think there is a mistake in this video. I physically have an e reader and the cards to use the feature and I distinctly remember using them and it was a fight against a trainer listed on the card if i recall correctly. Edit 1: i did find the trainer card for my E reader and it does have a trainer to fight on it and 2 of their team are listed. The only thing is that its a ruby sapphire card so im not sure if it would also apply to emerald version. Will test it out later. I still have working link cables. Edit 2: specifically emerald and beyond doesn’t work with it because it moved to the wireless method with a different menu for mystery gift in the English version so the video is infact accurate.

In regards to rest on shedinja it in theory use rest to eliminate a status condition as rest bypasses those and puts it to sleep. You wouldn’t get recovery but it can heal status.

I don't know why, but as soon as I saw the title of this, I immediately though of the trainers in Red and Blue that had Muks that were very under the level at which Grimer evolves (level 38). I can remember a couple of rocket scientists and a biker that had Muks ranging in the 25 to 33 or so range.

Hoopa does not teleport, it uses portals. Vastly different thing. Everything else was interesting to note, I knew some of it already, but the other stuff is interesting. Except for the Hoopa bit, Hoopa is not a teleporter, it uses portals. That is how it warps around, portals, the rings/hoops, are portals.

@@TreyX304 That is the wrong use of the word. Teleporting is instant movement, which Hoopa cannot do. Meanwhile, the rings open portals, meaning they are doorways that just shorten distances. Plus, the Pokédex says lots of odd things. Best bet is to not lean heavily into them as facts.

The Pokedex has been proven to be full of non-sense...by the Pokemon universe itself. But, I can meet you halfway on this, and say both me and Hoops is 50% correct on this.

U can get stab with vicegrip if the move is used by metronome. Tho I doubt it counts as you are meaning that it is learned by a mon not simply used by one. Rest can still be used on shedinja if it is paralyzed.
