Im starting to try and grow drosera varieties ive gotten in central alberta Canada...gawd do i suck at keeping them alive lol. Ps...great hair color!

The Drosera tubaestylis that I bought from you 2 years ago is up! My Gunniana died however. :(

I’m sorry to hear about the gunniana! Sometimes they do rot during their dry period and it’s always so disappointing but the tubaestylis is so lovely!

yes tuberous sundews are one of my favourites.. my D.macrantha are also always first to grow in autumn/winter. They are not as high as yours but still quite big. D.lunata and D.humilis are coming now also. D.tubaestylus is also quite early. Funny that you mentioned D.cistiflora... it's also one of my very late growing sundews-but does it make tubers? I always thought it grows from roots.

It is lumped in with the winter growers so I always mention it even though cistiflora doesn’t have a tuber! But people always ask me about it in reference to the winter growers!
