Instant Pot high pressure for 5 min, then let it slow release - Throw the rice in with shredded carrots, spinach, bell peppers, salt, butter (if you want, I don't), and vegetable broth or chicken broth. Quick, easy, and tasty.

I'd also throw in a potato or two a day for the potassium. The vertical diet really is an efficient diet and super easy to meal prep for. Just bulk cook your rice, meats and potatoes and your good to go for most meals.

Did you know that spinach is extremely high in oxalate, which blocks absorption of magnesium?
@CFH2984 жыл бұрын
Quote from HealthLine: "People who tend to form kidney stones may benefit from a low-oxalate diet. However, healthy people trying to stay healthy do NOT need to avoid nutrient-dense foods just because they are high in oxalates. It is simply not a nutrient of concern for most people." Don't go around fear-mongering comments about spinach when it's not needed.

I'm going to ask a naive question in my opinion. I want to maintain my body weight but i want to lose the fat and the water in my lower abdomen area.I don't eat a clean diet most of my life.If i switch my dirty carbs to clean ones but maintain the same caloric intake,is it inevitable that i will lose weight or is there a way to keep the same body weight by doing this?
@scotthayes61464 жыл бұрын
Going to be hard to lose fat from one area but there are some ways to "kind of" burn stubborn bodyfat. Fasted cardio will increase both fat lipolysis (breakdown) and fat oxidation (burning). Also, blood flow tends to be lower in stubborn bodyfat areas. Studies show that fasted training increases blood flow in the abdominal region. Although being in a calorie deficit matters the most, the type of carbohydrates (lower glycemic and/or resistance starches) are very important as well. For one, they will provide waaaay more nutrients which will result in much better recovery and satiety. www.wenningstrength.com/collections/manuals www.wenningstrength.com/collections/equipment www.wenningstrength.com/pages/online-coaching
