So the legends are true! I used to hear mythical tales of "the dudes who ran the WCT in one day", but I never believed it until I saw it for myself. Thank you so much for sharing this, the fact that you accomplished all this and had the wherewithal to film it, and stay cheery the whole time just blows my mind. You are amazing and your passion is infectious.

That was brutal - you picked the biggest rock you could lift and gave it to Pat? LOL. Awesome beautiful trail. Canada is truly wild and beautiful.

Thanks for the video! We talked about "the mythical legend of those who have ran the trail" while we hiked it a week ago, so very cool to see it with my own two eyes. Something to strive to do one day as well I think!

"Lots of good attitude today." Wow, that's great advice. I have to keep that in mind when I'm out on the trail.

Thanks to Kerry and Pat...enjoyed the doc of this run. De hyd is the beginning of the end...too dramatic....but correct in retrospect...the cougar loves to eat runners.

Pretty impressive. I could only watch the first 14 minutes, though. All that bouncing with the camera gave me a bit of motion sickness!

Wow. Completely insane. Did this earlier in the season and it was brutal in 5 days. I have no idea how you guys did that. Different breed.

I did it 10yrs ago (before they had as many boardwalks) in 4 days, quite easily. I'd both like to try it with only two sleeps and take maybe 6 days to stretch it out. Neat watching memories of the area fly by.

That video was epic. Thanks so much for that, I now know what to expect. Too bad I didn't know about your trip -- I've wanted to do this for awhile. I'm hoping to join a crew for a single-day WCT next year I guess :)

To be, or not to be? What kind of friend would ask the other to cary a big heavy 10-15lbs bolder in the middle of a marathon? A) He is lazy? B) Testing me? C) To slow me down,(That's when he is going to kill me)?

I don't understand the point; you're missing the beauty of the trail by running it. Slow down and enjoy it.
@skimdude249 жыл бұрын
zizzinpuss because they will see more than you. You will stop and focus on every butterfly, they will stop at the epic stuff only. end result -- Trail run = more awesome sights of epic scenery.... Hiking = more butterflies and snails.
