Great video, helpt me alot! But I run into trouble. I have Trail-tec 15-F(07). So I had to identyfy all the cables to the lamps and steal the signal from there. Everything worked great until I where to test my trailer. No lamps are working! Apparently my model of trail tec does not require any coding, I guess since I steal the signals. Do you know anything about that?

I was going to do this to our Seat Exeo which is basically an old shape Audi A4 so probably a similar task. Not now though!! My old Passat was really simple compared to this. Modern cars are so complicated 🙄

I ran into problems trying to remove the rear bumper. Specifically detaching it from above the wheel arches, some of the clips broke. How did you pull yours without breaking ?

Surely that new crash beam should slide in more easily than that? Hammering it in would suggest it's a poor fit

yes you are right, it should, the funniest thing is that Westphalia makes these towbars custom audi, so what you buy from audi, for a much higher price is exactly the same as seen in the video but cheaper

The coding changes of 5F (Infomation Elect.) is not applicable on my A4 B8 8K. So 01, 03, 09, 10, 19 are mandatory to the installation.

check if you have a free plug in the trunk on the right side, you can also check the car accessories codes. Factory-equipped cars for hook connection usually also have two fans on the engine radiator
