the fact that christopher and jonathan nolan are brothers with completely different accents is the most christopher and jonathan nolan thing ever

That’s like my brother and me. He has a thick Aussie accent, whereas, I’ve grown amongst American expat kids... so...

Dear Mr Jonathan Nolan and Ms Lisa Joy You two have single handedly created a beautiful masterpiece of a show. I’m a fan of movies and TV shows but always sided to the more focused storylines of movies and the beautiful cinematography, that can’t be captured any other way unless it’s on film. That’s why I’ve always been a fan of the HBO route, it’s like an extra long movie, that you get to intensely watch on a weekly basis but once it’s complete, you can binge all focused 10 episodes in one complete form. This I think, is the first interview I’ve watched of yours. You’re both incredibly charismatic and you and your show have inspired me to go ahead and work on the ideas I’ve had for stories. I really hope to meet either of you one day and shake your hand or at the very least create a show or movie that is half as good as Westworld. Much love and respect, Yours sincerely David Browning

Filmmaking and even showrunning is a team exercise. If it were just those two westworld wouldn't be westworld.

Okay, okay ‘single handedly’ was a poor choice of words, I understand it takes months of preparation with an entire team behind them but ultimately they are the ones with the master plan and with out them exclusively, we wouldn’t have the show at all.

Isn't the Westworld based on the original books? So, I believe single handedly kinda ignores the author's contribution which he made by his imagination.

2:38 and there we have it. Jonathan Nolan telling us that the world we are in is a story line ..the 'Real' story line. The show is just a metaphor for this reality which has it's Ford and Arnold creator 'gods' .. the Enki Enlil story as someone else here points it as the main characters in the Sumerian..Yahweh and the Serpent in the Hebrew..but ultimately it's all a narrative running outside our perception calling into question our own notions of ascension and freewill. The center of the maze is the third eye .. the pineal .. let your eye be single that it your body may be filled with light. Great stuff. Westworld is the most important film ever produced.

I always thought that the music was selected from the 90's because the show takes place in the future and music from the 90's would be old (e.g. classical music) like the tongue in cheek joke in the last Star Trek film.

Nubyrc start over... Sometimes experiencing something good for so long takes away its uniqueness. If you make mistakes you don't want to remember in life, you can always start over!

*_1:45_**_ - _**_2:12_**_ is probably the best thing she has ever said and that’s why Jonah is looking at her with that genuine smile. I don’t like Lisa Joy because she ruined season 2 with bad writing (not bad but not equally good as the season 1 that I assume was written by Christopher nolan, the brother of Jonah who has made great movies and also written by Jonah). season 2 was tol much action and too little grace. I think she is trying to give the audience what she thinks they want but that is exactly what ford said to mr Sizemore not to do. ”It’s not about what you think they want, It’s not that simple...”. also ”as our new season gained in action it lost in grace” (tweeked quote from ford S1 xd) i think she wants to be as politically correct as possible so that SJW will start watching this. i now pray that no SJW bash my comment for being ”misogynist”. I’m just telling you my opinion. doesn’t matter if she’s a woman season 2 was trash compred to season 1!_*

These two may be cute but they are not nearly smart or knowledgeable enough to have written the story of Westworld. That's my theory :D Most likely, as it always happen with this kind of scripts, it was handed to them.
@justing74906 жыл бұрын
My guess is that they don't know what they are doing in the future season until they get greenlit for a new season. They admitted that the concept of Stubbs being a host came up the night before shooting the "Dolores leaves" scene...
@avocatobobble6 жыл бұрын
justin g there’s a difference between winging it and coming up with a brilliant idea before it’s said and done. They already have the ending in mind and already written, with a plan of five seasons. For now season 3 is as far as they’ve been green lit to. One thing is for sure though, each season so far feels like a self contained story. People already said at the end of season 1, how can they continue? It felt like the end was the end but they proved people wrong with an awesome season 2. The finale felt like it brought everything together. They could end on season 3 but I doubt it but if they do, they know what they’re doing.
@justing74906 жыл бұрын
Browning Bros yea, the writers of Lost said that they had 5 seasons and a finale ready as well... Having a general plot idea is very different from having a story. I'm not saying it is guaranteed to be bad, but to say that they definitely know where they are going with the story is being facetious.
@michaelcalia60726 жыл бұрын
I read that if you look back, Stubbs appears in two timelines that are far apart, which might suggest he was a host. I can't swear to that, but interesting if true.
