As a kid we would wrestle them as part of a greased pig chase and could control the grapple, but not one of equal size. That depends, like you said, entirely on the type of pig. I like to always assume full grown adult. Long pigs like the ones we have can push 300, and they move scary fast and will take a nice size chunk out of you no problem. Especially if they're outside in a larger pen, even with daily feeding and human interaction they'll go partially feral in just a couple weeks and then they're way leaner, way meaner, and they have full tusk coming in
@johnsteel60082 жыл бұрын

fun fact about cheats: in order to have enough traction to sustain those high speeds they always have their claws out and that dulls them significantly. so they aren't sharp enough to pierce skin... at least not tear it to shreds

Cheetahs lack the mass necessary to knock their prey over without the added momentum of the prey running away. So similarly to a mountain lion, if you stand your ground and don't run, you'll essentially scare the cheetah away. Even Mike would have a significant size advantage. If you were completely naked, you'd get torn apart while grappling. But if you had road leathers and a helmet, I think you'd be mostly safe.
@SaftonYT2 жыл бұрын
Yeah. They're probably the least impressive of the big cats in terms of a knockdown, drag-out brawl. They're not part of the Panthera genus like leopards, lions, tigers, etc. and as such they lack the typical pantherine features like the robust, lean-muscled builds and such. Their claws are non-retractable which means that they are blunted from running on them and thus less useful for use in grappling. I think many able-bodied, full-grown men -- to say nothing of ones with grappling training -- would be able to hold their own against a cheetah that didn't slam into them at full speed long enough to at the very least convince them they're not an easy meal.

Seth, another thing about pigs is that males grow cartilage armour on their sides to protect against tusks from other males. Do you have an attack that can get through a couple inches of anti-tusk armour?
@chrisanthem99562 жыл бұрын
I think that you can beat a pig to death but that was going to be a loooooong day (since I have seen something similar) but in Chile we have a variant of the pig that has a even thicker fat armor, that shit is not going down doesnt matter what exept that you can use tools
@SwordTune2 жыл бұрын
@@chrisanthem9956 Without tools, no one is beating a pig to death, that pig is going to beat the human to death, eat it, poop it out, grow mushrooms from it, use those mushrooms to attract another human, and then repeat the cycle.

Even without anything on their talons, you can beat any flying bird. The only way it could win is if it surprises you, but it's 1vs1. All you have to do is watch out for it. Once you connect, the bird is a goner.

First, Seth stole the joke I tell my wife because she was born in West Virginia. Second, pythons kill faster and stronger creatures than you, and when they have attacked people, people are lucky to survive...and Anacondas are bigger. Giraffes are over a ton, and would wreck you. A cassowary is worse than Emus or Ostraches and would wreck pretty much any person.
