Dr.StickFigure Dr what's your opinion on alternative medicine specifically homoeopathy and Chinese medicine
@AbudBakri
@AbudBakri 7 жыл бұрын
You're going to want to consult with your regular primary doctor about any type of alternative medicine. Much research is being done about this field and things are becoming more conclusive, but we aren't sure yet. There is however a bigger push for alternative medicine to be used in conjunction with western medicine. But like I said, consult with your doctor and have open dialogue to decide what are your best options.

I like supersets on isolation lifts. Compound lifts, I like to concentrate on like Bench Press, Squat, Deadlift, Shoulder Press, Lat Pulls, Barbell Rows. I like to get all my big compound movements out of the way. After that, I like to do calf raises/triceps pushdown, or ab exercises/curls (cable curls, barbell, dumbell, etc whatever I choose). When I have time, I like to do other exercises like: leg extensions/chest flies or leg curls/rear delt pulls. Sometimes I like to combine and perform movements like curl shoulder presses with dumbbells. Sometimes I have to modify movements because of Arthritis so things at least stay in motion. I'll do Goblet Squats instead of barbell squats or Cable deadlifts instead of barbell deadlifts. I think it's important to just do things correctly, and the best one can while preventing injuries.

Contrary to popular belief, I DO superset Squats with calf raises and love it. I sometimes even alternate - so one squat then one raise, one squat then one raise etc. Bear in mind, I train at home with no squat rack and clean and jerk the barbell each set. If I didn't superset I'd need to double my clean and jerk, which isn't always bad, but could hinder my results to progressively overload.

They're kind of annoying when you have to wait for someone that's taking up two machines/weights and you have to wait for them or if you're doing them someone might think you're done with the machine and take it while you're still doing your sets because you left.

PicFit! Please make a video about water fasting and I will love you more! And longer!
@luketaitfitness6224
@luketaitfitness6224 7 жыл бұрын
You only want to water fast for a maximum of 3 days, In this 3 days you will see great weight loss as the body can concentrate on detoxification and healing as its wasting no energy on food digestion, you'll see blood pressure levelling, healthier looking skin, you'll crave sugary foods less... However fasting for any longer than this can be terrible, you're now in a massive deficiency of vitamins and will have blood sugar issues... So it does sound great, however it's been proven to be a lot less beneficial than intermittent fasting, using herbal supplements and so on, however there is nothing stopping you implementing a water fast in to your diet once a week

I have been told that supersets help balance muscle groups and prevent injuries from having one group stronger than the other. e.g. shoulder injuries from doing large amounts of pushup/bench press and not as much pull up/row type exercises. Does this claim hold any weight?

Maybe the results from super setting may have to do with the fact that people often do sets in ~20-30s so a superset puts the person into a state of ~50s of high intensity training which is often recommended for best amount of time under stress for gainz? possibly?

During the 10 years of traning in the gym I have tried multiple programms and I want to share this particular which I must think that I myself invented it cuz I havent heard anybody doing it. So it is a tradicional upper lower body split 2x a week upper body and 2x a week lower body and the same routine is performed on thoes days so : UPPER BODY : 1)TRIPLE SETS CHEST TRICEPS- what that means ya do a bench press which you prefere that day without brake you do pushups or dips and then ya do a triceps exercises which you prefere that day. WITHOUT BRAKE REPEAT THAT FUCKING CYCLE 3 TIMES 2) TRIPLE SETS BACK BICEPS- ya do classic pull ups or australian pull ups and without brake you go on some BACK MACHINE and without brake you go to do a biceps exercies. REPEAT THAT 3 FUCKING TIMES WITHOUT BRAKE 3) SUPERSET SHOULDER- ya combine shoulder press which ya prefere with LATELAR RAISES, NOT FRONT RAISES NOT REAR DELT FLYS ONLY FUCKING LATERERAL RISES. You do a set of shoulder press superset that bitch with a lateral raise. WHY NOT FRONT OR REAR DELTS??? BECAUSE THEY WORK IN EVERY FUCKING BACK OR CHEST EXERCISES 4) STRETCH You are out of the GYM in 30-40 min WITH GETTING YOUR CHLOTES OF AND ON LOWER BODY : 1) SUPERSET LEG EXTENSIONE AND SQUAT AND 4X TIMES WITHOUT A FUCKING BRAKE. If you have lower back issues superset that leg extensione with some fucking MACHINE SQUAT OR LEG PRESS 2) SUPERSET DEADLIFT AND LEG CURLS WITHOUT A FUCKING BRAKE 4X TIMES 3) DO 150- 250 reps on calves in WHATEVER NUMBER OF SETS BUT THE MINIMAL NUMBER OF REPS PER SET MUST BE 25 !!!!!! 4) STRETCH You are out of the gym in 30-40 fucking minutes. IF YOU ARE NOT A PROFESSIONAL BODYBUILDER this programm shall be just fine to build muscle. IF YOU ARE A PROFESSIONAL BODYBUILDER do a fucking classic bodybuilding trening IF YOU ARE NOT A PROFESSIONAL BODYBUILDER DONT FUCKING DO FUCKING PROFESSIONAL BODYBUILDER TRANING I AM NOT A PROFESSIONAL BODYBUILDER AND I HAVE BEEN DOING PROFESSIONAL BODYBUILDING TRANING FOR 5 YEARS, I FUCKED UP MY BACK SO BAD THAT I COULDT SIT WITHOUT A PAIN IN LOWER AND UPPER BACK FOCUS OND INTENSITY AND VOLUME OF TRANING AND NOT ON FUCKING WEIGHTS IF YOU ARE NOT A PROFESSIONAL BODYBUILDER Whoever reads this I whish you a LONG AND HAPPY AND FUFFILED LIFE WITHOUT INYURIES AND PAIN, CHEERS

Hi I recentely follow your channel and I have learned some tips, thank you for that, I have a doubt about the difference in working out in the morning or late in the day, can you make a video about that, or if you have one where can I find it, thank you.

Bicep curls, lateral raises, reverse grip bicep curl, barbell raises (can combo with bicep curls). And that is 1 set :D If you want to be sadist add skull crushers in there "just for fun" :D

I li,ke supersets because it also seems like a cardio workout. You're not resting much between sets so your heart rate stays elevated

Super sets increase exposure for injury, but other than that they're brilliant. I do super drop sets. 15 minutes feel like 45.

Yes, please, if you work out at a small gym, don't do supersets when it's crowded. And if you just have to, get comfortable sharing your equipment.

Rusty Shackleford for me I hope I never lose this motivation that I have going on. Been working out for 8 months and it is really addicting, sometimes go 2 a day and it's where I hangout with some of my buddies . The only time I get demotivated is when I don't have enough energy and didn't eat right so when I go the gym, I have no energy. Also I go because I enjoy working out and seeing the results and it builds me confidence. Everyone that sees me says wow your getting bigger, you look different , etc

Set yourself small, incremental goals. Try to beat a recent top set by five pounds. Deload and test every few months. Something, anything to give you a little more to shoot for. Because that's the rub... great results take long term consistency. There's no finish line in this game. You don't have to be Mr or Mrs Gym Life All Day. Few people have the resources to keep that up. Just find little things that keep you going from short term basis to short term basis. Next thing you know, it's a habit, and "motivation" doesn't figure. I don't wanna squat today, but I gotta. It's squat day.

Get addicted to the results and you'll always have a reason to go. Discipline is needed, not motivation.
