With the holes in roster & change in coaches, I will hope for playoffs but I won't EXPECT it. Though I think they will be blazing red hot and full of visible potential to the end. 3rd HC & 4th OC can be a push-pull experience first year. They'll be turbo-Charged next year.

The Chargers could use an upgrade with almost every positional group, they lack quality depth across the board, cap deficit, & they have 20 UFAs.

@@dandeitch3459 That's a dire picture of the Chargers. They have some other good players besides Herbert who won't be cap casualties. They were in the playoffs a season ago. With a decent draft they will be relevant and ready to compete in 2024.

The expectations has to be super high for the Chargers.They've got a Super Bowl coach and they paid Justin Herbert all that money and he still doesn't get the criticism of a Dak Prescott when this dude has only been to the playoffs once in the 5 years he's been in the league and lost in spectacular fashion but nobody wants to talk about that.

Drafted in 2020, so he's played 4 years. This will be his 3HC & 4thOC. I would never say anything derogatory about Dak. QB'g is difficult. Both Dak & Justin had to unexpectedly start their first season rather than sitting like Mahomes. Add 2020 COVID year with limited practice, (especially with 1st team players), no preseason games. He's a tougher human than I could ever be. Dak's a tough & accomplished dude too
