The first tip is soo true. Before, I would barely exercise and had a lot of stress from college, so my hair only grew 0.9 cm in a month even if I was eating well. But after I started exercising 3-5 times a week I noticed it now grows 1.5 cm in a month. I'm happier now, not just because my hair is growing faster, but overall I feel in a better mood, I'm barely stressed and more energetic. My body is more toned and I even sleep better. Edit: For those who are wondering 1 inch = 2.54cm and half of an inch is 1.27 cm.

@@glamglam8347 I said CENTIMETRES(cm). An inch is 2.54 cm and half of an inch is 1.27 cm, so it's not a inch but its a bit more than it's half. According to some articles on Google: "On average, hair tends to grow between 0.5 and 1.7 centimeters per month. This is equivalent to around 0.2 to 0.7 inches. This estimate comes from The Trichological Society. However, lots of different factors affect the speed of hair growth"

1. Keeping my hair stretched and in protective styles. In my case, plaits (with no added hair). 2. Cleansing my hair one small section at a time. 3. Detangling my hair one small section at a time. 4. Deep conditioning after every wash. 5. Oiling my edges, nape, and ends at least 4-5 times per week. 6. Sleeping in silk or satin scarves and on silk or satin pillow cases. 7. Finger detangling only (except when my hair is straightened). 8. Protecting (cocooning) my ends with satin scrunchies. 9. Using quality, sulphate-free, moisturizing shampoos. 10. Using conditioning cleansers (co-washes), which, I think are largely slept on. 11. Using better-quality products. 12. Cutting way back on heat. 13. Avoiding hair ties, ponytails, buns, and tight hairstyles. 14. Being very gentle with my hair. 15. Applying my organic, homemade, oil-based hair butter to my ends and edges daily. ❤️

@@miriacarolina4400 I prefer not to wash my hair in twists because my hair tends to get matted at the roots. Some people don’t have a problem with this though.
