Good review, on a newer model BMW, this tool offers diagnostic and service capabilities for many more systems than appear on the car demonstrated in this video. This makes sense as more and more sensors and electronics are added with each new model.

Hi, I recently received a brand new NT710. Day 1 activated, indicating 85% battery life. I completed the registration process online. I turned it off. A week later, and this is my first time using the NT710, I want to work on a car today, and I can't get the scanner to turn on. I hit the orange on/off button, and all I see is a green light flashing a few times and a blank screen. I pressed and held the on button for 3 seconds with the same results. Now that I have the scanner plugged into the wall charger, nothing has happened after two hours. Please assist if you have had this issue or have a solution. Thank you so much; I really appreciate it.

@@Watchman999 I sold my 510 Elite and got the NT710, it does a lot more than the 510. Last week I reset the transfer case in a friends E70 X5. I also have the Chevy program in mine for the LS3 in my hotrod. The battery holds it’s charge for a LONG time. You can send reports directly to your wireless printer, send questions from it directly to Foxwell, etc.

Hi, I have question for you : will Foxwell nt710 will reset Cas stsyem ?? I have seen that nt510 is capable of doing that but I am wondering if nt710 could donit as well . I am intrested to buy it but I would like to know if it could fix my problem . Thank you great video

I am curious if this can analyze battery and alternator. I know Innova can but I thought this Foxwell has more features.

I went through the menus pretty thoroughly and didn't come across anything like that. It tells you the battery voltage at the top of the screen at all times but that's it.

If I'm not mistaken, the battery voltage level reading is that of the battery power pinout on the obd2 port on the vehicle. That's what I've heard for different models of scan tools. I'll be interested to finding out if this tool has the capability to read battery and alternator

I have two part question: Can I use this scanner to do recalibration after I placed the transfer case or replacing the battery? How many NT710 out there? I see some priced at $300 and other NT710 at $160. Are they the same?

I went over all the features I could find in this video. You might be seeing prices for different models that are programmed for different vehicles but I'm not sure what you're looking at.

Same here, ONLINE I saw the 710 for 179.00 at WALMART, says it is BMW and it's the NT710 and the third party seller is FOXWELL.

You buy the NT710 (or any of their tools) for a specific car. You make sure you but the one that is setup for the car you want to use it on. You can then pay to have other cars, (Chevy, Ford, Audi, MB, etc) programs downloaded to the Foxwell over wifi from your home. I bought the NY 710 for my BMW then paid for the Chevy download so I could connect it to my LS3 engine and tranny. I found the lowest price on eBay, which now is a bit higher than $200.

Do you accept passat 2008 b6? Volkswagen? Does it read DSG automatic transmission?

It works with Volkswagen cars and it reads the transmission on my BMW. It probably does work with your transmission but you would need to contact the company directly to confirm this.

I don't recall if it can read that data and I'm out of town right now. Your best bet would be to contact Foxwell directly. It is supposed to do everything a dealer tool can do, so I would assume it can probably read injector values but I can't verify that right now.
