i had a tkr three months ago keeping the PCL and the knee feels after three months like when I was twenty.I other works it is rock solid and i am running three miles on the treadwell with zero problems

14 days out injured in 1970 was wondering about ligaments no cartilage for years surgery in 1970 they did best they could, pictures might help.

Thanks! I just had a TKR 6 weeks ago and will be asking my doc about the ACL/PCL. I'm not a fan of throwing good parts out but have to admit I'm not missing them. My knee feels stronger and more stable than before the TKR.

Yes, typically the medial patellofemoral ligament (MPFL) is not removed during knee replacement surgery.
