I remember when I worked 1 hour and a half away from home. I’d make sure I’d have breakfast before leaving the house because I know I’d be hungry on the way to work (I don’t drive), this would be at 7am. Around 11am I’d be starving and can’t wait for lunch, which is at 1-2pm. I’d eat again at 11am and eat a full ass lunch between 1 and 2pm. I’d be peckish or a little hungry around 4pm, so again I’d make sure I’d eat again in the afternoon because work would finish at 5pm and by the time I get home it’ll be 6:45pm. So you’re talking 7am until 1-2pm without eating in between, and 1-2pm lunch alll the way up to 7pm gap of no eating - who can do that? Of course you’re gonna get hungry in between! It makes perfect sense to me to have lunch and 2 snacks for a work day! I drink a lot of water too but that doesn’t help lol I’m always hungry

No one has the time out of their life to do that stuff. You are at least realistic :D

@moniapadme8 жыл бұрын
If you can do 1 hour break in your country then that's awesome. It doesn't mean I don't know my rights in my country. I know them very well. In my previews job I had right to break from work for 30 minutes per 8 hours of work. Or I could divided it and go for 15 minutes twice. I had eating room with food service. I moved out to small town and I work in a very small workplace now. The reason why I cannot go for normal break is not even that my boss would look unfriendly at it, it's that physically the place is being build in such way there is simply no room to eat. There's toilet and small hall to hang your clothes and my workplace. Even if my boss told me: "Go for 4 hours break", there would be no place to go...

But eating this way is not hard at all if u prepare ur food ahead of Time. A lot of people are saying u eat all day at work and technically u do but u r doing it the right way. Eating this ways helps build ur metabolism. There are ladies I work with that think eating once a day will help them to lose weight and get healthy but trust me when I say that they are not seeing the results they hoped to see by eating that way. I definitely need to invest in a good lunch bag and practical lunch containers.

HealthNutNutrition Sorry if my comment was sounding like I was criticising yours, I wasn't. I was saying that yours is much more realistic. I have an hour lunch break (I use half of that to go for a walk) but they're OK with us grabbing snacks throughout the shift as it's a very relaxed office. I was just saying that some other vids have people doing food that needs a ridiculous amount of time to sort out at work, which just isn't practical. It was nice to see yours as it's much closer to the kind of prep I do to make sure I have food ready at work when/if I need it.

I'm drinking a glass of water right after I wake up, and a hot cup of tea with the breakfast. I like to eat solid food for breakfast with carbohydrate and protein. This green smothie is absolutely not my thing. The fruit and yogurt parfe looks delicious, I will try it, but will prepare it at home. My coworkers like to share their food with me, but recently I'm saying no, because they bring cakes and cookies. We bought a microwave oven together, so I can eat a hot lunch at work. I usually bring homemade healthy foods. I also eat two snacks at work and I like to bring fresh fruits. An apple or banana is the best option. If you watching your calories, the dried fruits has so mutch calorie, that you can eat a little chocholate, biscuit or hazelnut instead of them guilt free. I'm also drink at least one liter water or tea at work. I'm using stevia to sweeten it, because formerly I had a 3 in 1 coffee or a cappuccino daily, but I realized that it's 70-100 unwanted calorie, so I stopped.

I truly enjoyed your video. Planning meals for work are pretty easy for me as I work in a setting like yours. We have a kitchen with an toaster oven (I try not use microwaves when at all possible. So I look to bring cold lunches more often. I use channels like yours to get ideas and recipes. I love a variety of foods, so long as they are healthy. I am simply on a journey to live a more healthier and happier life style. I am not vegan but make vegan recipes all of the time. I pretty much eat a vegetarian plan 5 days out of the week and I will have fish or chicken 2 days out of thw week. I am loosing weight just fine and I couldn't be happier. I have learned to be happy with my decisions and take what others tell me as suggestions not demands or put downs because I am on a mission to peace and good health. Ignore the negativity and focus on the positive. :) This is my life not theirs. I am a new subbie. I love your channel. I am so elated to have found such a wonderful and healthy place on youtube. wishing great success. :) Be a great day. Xoxo

You don't have a lunch break? Most people have snacks in their desk drawer. All companies have to allow employees to have a lunch break.

I loved this video! Your office setting is pretty similar to mine, except for the natural sunlight, only the lawyers have windows in their rooms. The rest of the admin staff are exposed to artificial lighting all day long (my make-up doesn't hold very well under spotlights all day), but since I'm responsible for the files database I get to move around quite often, filing papers. We have a nice pantry as well, with fridge, chairs, table, espresso machines, water, tea, cupboards, glasses, cups, plates and all. I guess we spend so many hours in the office, the setting was designed for everyone to get a break when needed, and we have this very Portuguese snack-sharing and coffee break culture. I also have my own spot, my drawers, where I keep my snacks and all, and I get 1h30min lunch break. Loved the green smoothie breakfast idea and I was inspired to prepare one for tomorrow as well, although taking the bus in Macau is really crazy: buses are always packed, and u get everywhere in like half an hour. I miss living in a city where I can enjoy a long train ride and chat with nice people.

People are so critical in the comments...she is just displaying what she may eat in a day for inspiration. She has a different job atmosphere than most people are you all jealous that she has time to eat?! Lol. And for those who are saying she's eating all day, that's the point of the video! Why would she film herself actually working and not eating? I'm sure she was working plenty in that whole day she just highlighted the eating parts for the video...duh 🙄

I hope your boss hasn't seen this video...with all the time to spend preparing food, eating, getting cups of teas and having snacks. Definitely not a full days work. Good for you if you can get away with it. I certainly can't!

don't forget she took the time when she not working to film this video. but on average she could have made her tea before work started, had her yogurt during her first break, her lunch during lunch time, and her snacks during either last break or while she was working. I don't know why someone can't have a little snack working as long as they do their job. And it's her workplace, if she does it all the time and theirs no problems with it why people freaking out and comparing it to their life?
