Thank you so much for this, Hitomi. I have Crohn’s disease and disordered eating, and this year is all about forming healthy relationships with healing food for my gut. Potatoes and rice especially always helped me during flare ups. Thank you for this, so much love

eat organic meat or fish and cut the rest back or this will be a forever. theres a reaso so many ex vegans do way better and got rid of many health problems.

I would love to see a full yoga practice! Do you plan them in advance or write them out before you practice or simply go with the vibe? I usually just vibe but then I feel like it's not always well-rounded because I'm often doing the posed I'm comfortable with and not challenging myself

I find that pho always digests really well for me too! It's such a delicious and satisfying meal for me too. I like a simple pho and a broth with more depth of flavor as well :) Your videos bring me so much calm and peace. Thank you very much! 💟💟💟

I just recently found out I have H Pylori and that causes anxiety and stomach problems. Best thing to do is find a functional medicine dr and get a GI Map Stool test to find out specifically what is going on in your stomach.

Hey Hitomi, I've been watching your videos now for maybe 4 years and you've taught me and inspired me so much! The last two years though I've watched your videos less. I started writing less and being less reflective and it really affected my mental health. I don't know how that happened...but I eventually started being more conscious of my thoughts and actions again. I'm watching your videos more often again, writing in my diary, being more active and reflective. I feel soooo much better

I love cooked buckwheat with a pinch of salt and a tablespoon of coconut oil melted into it as a soothing meal. It’s as simple as can get, but it just sits very well 😃

I found the breakfast cookie recipe online! Breakfast cookie recipe: Blend 2 cups of oats into a flour, pour into bowl Blend 1.5 cups walnuts with 8 medjool dates, add mixture to oats Add 1 Tbsp vanilla, 1/2 tsp salt, and 1 tsp cinnamon Mix well Slowly add .5 cups water until the mixture easily forms a cookie. Bake for 15 minutes at 325

We use cumin in cooking with all beans to reduce the bloating , I definitely feels the difference when its not added to the dish

I LOVE Isabel’s breakfast cookies! Unfortunately the oat flour doesn’t digest well for me so I substitute it with whole wheat flour and that feels better for me :)

meat fish is food, plants are mostly medicine. if you only eat "medicine" you will get serious problems and your gut will suffer like hitomis.

This video is so relatable to my intentions. I’ve had digestive issues for as long as I can remember but I didn’t know it was not normal till about three years ago (I’m 19) and I’ve been trying to heal ever since. It’s crazy how you are introduced into someone else’s journey for one thing you find similar (spirituality) and yet everything is connected and digestive issues are part of my learning from you too

This is so important!! I had food poisoning last Month and couldnt really get rid of it. I tried to eat a „simple low impact“ diet with „easy to Digest“ bread and other things But escpecially wheat products upset my stomach, even on a normal day. After a week of not really keeping any food in for Long, i switched to my high Fiber diet with lots of whole grain dark breads and veggies again My stomach was back to normal Almost imediatly. Every Body is so different, we just need to listen

GI issues can be so awful to to deal with. Both overeating or eating too frequently, and vegan diets can lead to SIBO(small intestinal bacterial overgrowth). Some people on vegan diets think it’s just the fiber and all the veggies but your bodies sending you red flags that it’s not doing well with the diet or behavior you’ve been doing. Getting a functional dr and doing stool testing and food sensitivity testing is best in these cases.

I love that you’re talking about gut health. I recommend cutting out gluten and some grains if you’re having tummy issues. & focus on how much sugar you’re having while you’re healing. & you have to be consistent to see results. 💗

@@lndestr1234 actually we are man had to make fire first before he started eating meat so before that they were vegetarian... Also the remains of the gladiators in Roman times were examined and said to have been eating a plant based diet and that they were more healthy then anyone else in that area and there bones were more dense.... Funny how the United States is the only country in the whole world that doesn't teach it ppl how to periodically cleans for parasites and the food that the USA pushes on us, processed food meat from animals that are not natural animals and are fed things like corn that they are not supposed to eat so our meat is full of parasites too and dairy and eggs also feed these things inside of us.... And 99% of ppl in the world have parasites and they grow out of control when we don't eat the things that rid out bodies of them and those things are plants

@@lndestr1234 the bible says thou shalt not kill yet to eat an animal you must kill it? Why kill animals when there are already too few of them to begin with... And we are eating cows that are sad, afraid and depressed so when you eat them you will be eating those emotions not to mention your eating an unhealthy animal that is in prison never even got to be what it was meant to be which is free...

Ouch, sounds pretty extreme that your bloating can cause pain from just breathing, I hope you don’t have to endure that too often. I’ve heard that excess fibre consumption, which is characteristic of the vegan diet, can cause just that. Which makes me think, since you are promoting this diet and you have a significant influence on your viewers, it would be really important to also hear the downsides of this diet. Could you possibly make a video about that? I appreciate the honesty of this video, have a great day!

A vegan diet does not have to be extremely high in fiber (eg if it’s not completely Whole Foods only) Unnatural Vegan has some videos one this, and also on some examples on people who went overboard with only eating Whole Foods and then had some negative outcomes.

Just a note to be careful when starting a low FODMAP diet, it’s usually recommended to do it under a dietician’s supervision. ☺️

cookies recipe looks so good i will definetely try it ! also you eat a lot of raw vegetables which are much more difficult to digest than cooked veggies this can be the source of some of your digestion problems ! :)
