#2 the way I cook the Japanese sweet potatoes is to cut them in half and cook them in the oven the cut side down for about an hour or so depends on the size of your potatoes, side down gets all brown and they taste like toasted marshmallows

2! I'm an Ape-ricot :) I like what you said about being proud how you treat your body, I'm always embarrassed when I eat with others and they comment on how I eat.

JSPs and Jersey or Hannah Whites are also yum. I love them baked till gooey then chilled till the next day. Eat them right out of the fridge. They taste like cake! Or sometimes I’ll take the cold cooked ones out of the fridge and air fry them. Either way, they are delish. And to think I didn’t used to eat potatoes bc they were purportedly fattening!!!!

This all looks so yummy! I'm not sure if you have tried this or not, but i cut my Japanese sweet potatoes in half lengthwise and then bake them about 30 minutes on each side at 400, and then they are extra gooey! Highly recommend!!

#1 Apricot. JSP's are delicious baked. So much better than microwave JSP's but in a pinch, the microwave does the job.

Okay first I say apricot the way you said it in number 1…. Seconds… OMG BIG BROTHER is my life in summer! I already loved you and found you to be so inspirational and now big brother! I am a 2grade teacher so summer is my recharge time ( although this summer I started grad school for my masters but that is beyond the point) and I love big brother! I listen to all the podcasts about the feeds ( so I don’t have to pay for those 😜)

I have to be gluten free and am allergic to avocadoes but what I do is tofu toast. Not sure that would be SOS approved, but 2 slices of gluten-free toast and mashed tofu with salt substitute, pepper, lots of oregano, and a splash of soy milk and a few shakes of nutritional yeast. I have alone or top with tomatoes, or zucchini

I don’t understand how a person can eat as much sweet potato as they like and still lose weight? Dr Fuhrman says 1 cup A day max. Confusing? Please clarify. Thanks from Australia

Is there another name for Japanese sweet potatoes? I’ve seen purple potatoes in the store but they are not marked as Japanese. Oh, and btw, I am from the SW and so I say #2 apricot!
