Sue, this video that we watched that was so great would be for a healthy person. In addition people with all the problems you have which is a lot more than Dr g's single problem lupus tho devastating as it was. Hence I think you are candidate for carnivore and if you cannot do it right away because it is only meat, you could start with keto which allows you a few vegetables. BUT NOT the vegetables that she was eating such as potatoes. I think squash is also not allowed etc etc. You can Google that if you find the carnivore diet too difficult to dive into. I do think there is a solution to your problems but different folks take different strokes and Dr g would say that as well. This beautiful woman who did the podcast had just the one problem and you have many more and in addition she's very slender and can eat almost anything. Good luck🍀

I myself generally eat more of a starch solution diet with lots of veggies (basically adding HN on top of the starch solution.) This works well for me. Dr. Goldner recommends HN for everyone who is generally healthy regardless of the diet they follow. Though, if you were trying to heal from a chronic disease or autoimmune disease, of course Dr. Goldner would suggest her full Goodbye Lupus Protocol. But Dr. McDougall's program has also reversed these conditions as well. I am not a doctor or dietician, but I personally think that a starch based diet plus lots of non-starchy veggies and free of highly processed foods and animal products is a solid diet.

Rapid recovery is the term for when you work directly with Dr. Goldner. @@밭이랑 You're welcome! Dr. Goldner does not count romaine as hypernourishing, and she does not count herbal tea in the water amounts. However you can still include both of those in addition to the foods on the protocol.

There's no oatmeal on her program that's a cooked grain and it's inflammatory

This video is about the Hyper-nourishment Protocol which does not have any food restrictions. It is only about the addition of the hyper-nourishing foods. So you can eat anything else as long as you meet the hyper-nourishment minimums. Grains are not allowed on the Goodbye Lupus Protocol.

@@tonymaurice4157 Dr. Goldner allows raw sweet potato on the Goodbye Lupus Protocol. On Hyper-Nourishment sweet potato can be eaten cooked or raw.

@showmemovegan how do I eat it raw that's so tough I guess there's a way to slice it?
@showmemovegan4 ай бұрын
@@tonymaurice4157 I personally have never eaten raw sweet potato, but I've heard of people blending it into smoothies, sauces, or puddings, or grating it into salads. There's another channel that does all raw food called Raw Food Romance, and she has used it in dehydrated wraps and things like that.

Too many oxalates!

There’s a lot of info talking about how that’s only an problem if you have issues with your kidneys.
@jayterra20609 ай бұрын
@@HomewithLora yes Dr. G confirmed that oxalates are in general not a problem on her channel. Even for those with kidney issues most of the time not an issue because of the benefits outweigh the risks.

Wow, this is alot of work, shopping, prepping, eating, digesting! How nourishing is this if you have to ease into it? Raw veggies especially do not break down in the gut, add bulk and irritate the gut. Notice gut pain increases with fiber? Just think about it. With autoimmune, an elimination diet is so much easier on the body and brain. Add in meats, eggs, butter (bowel rest as per GI docs for Chrons and digestive issues like celiac and ibs). Crops destroy habitat, animals and insects get killed off, tons of carbon emmisions from farming equipment. Low carb has healed my fatty liver and chronic hives, stopped the diabetes, no more smelly feet, and I have very little gray hair in my 60s. Hubbys psoriasis plaques are gone. I just hope that someone reads this and takes a hard look at how diets like this are not a fix for autoimmune.
