GLP1s are meant to be injected subcutaneous, i.e. under the skin, but not into the muscle. Subcutaneous injections are absorbed more slowly into the body vs. injections that are done into the muscle. However, there are reports of people getting different levels of appetite suppression, food noise, etc depending on where they inject.

My thigh is the best, but it should be into the fat!! It’ll be more effective! Mine is done on the curve of my hip when I prop my leg up, I squeeze the skin so I have a good grip, and inject into the squishy-est part! No side effects in my thigh either! So happy for you!❤

I've been on Ozempic for over a year. My doctor told me that bacon is not a good choice while on Ozempic. It's a very greasy food and high in saturated fats. Greasy and fatty foods will cause nausea and stomach issues. Has the doctor told you its okay on the GLP1 that you are doing? I am much older than you so I may also be more sensitive to fatty foods. So happy you are doing well with your GLP1 injections, yeah!

Usually when I pair a protein like eggs with bacon, it doesn’t hurt me. What gets me is sugar. That’s a big no no for me personally haha

Love those steamed dumplings. The chicken o es are my favorite but all of them all good. I put a little soy sauce, srirachi, chilie crisp and scallions. Yum! I've always eanted to try dragon fruit. I think I will get some this wekend to try. Glad to hear you are liking the GLP1. I've been on Wegovy for a while. I didnt lise too much and have stayed the same for a while now. But I'm down some so I'm ok with with that.

All your meals always looks so appetizing to me. I’ve never seen dragon fruit that big in my life. But that did look delicious. My last one I bought wasn’t very sweet. I need to try cooking my bacon in the microwave because the oven it just heats up my kitchen and makes a mess so I’m gonna have to try that in the microwave

Hi! RN here✋🏼 I just wanted to say you actually should try to avoid injecting into muscle as the medication is meant to be injected into subcutaneous fat (think lower belly, fatty backside of arms, fatty part of thigh) It actually is less effective when injected into muscle. Anyways carry on ❤

I had to stop mine after 12 weeks couldn’t handle all the vomiting day and night . Wind up at hospital many times .,dam shame was doing so well with it. They checking to make sure there nothing wrong with my stomach and liver . Because it can damage your liver ..wegovy I was on …0.25 ml for a month in Australia is $260 a month

This was me. I was so incredibly sick. My stomach had horrible horrible cramping, so painful. I had to stop, didn’t even get to week 3 😢. I was extremely nauseous all the time and would vomit occasionally, terrible. I saw experiences of people that had these stomach issues also while on the medication and had stomach paralysis. Not sure if any of it was true, but it freaked me out. The pain never happened a again after I stopped. So bummed my body rejected it.

I took Bydureon back in 2014 before GLP1s become popular and I am one of the ones it caused stomach paralysis to. It permanently disabled me and I daily struggle with extreme nausea, pain, bloating, and anxiety because of it. Along with bathroom issues if I eat certain things. I can’t eat more than 11g of fiber a day and can’t handle high fat meals or any raw fruits or veggies. My life has change since having a chronic illness due to a medication. I have to take multiple medications just to function each day and not vomit. I am happy for those who can take it and not have to suffer but I also think things like nausea and other worsening symptoms like vomiting should NOT be ignored or viewed as normal. It’s slowing down the vagus nerve and if it gets to a certain point like it did mine it will permanently paralyze it. Much love to those who have dealt with similar issues ❤
